I know that's totally unrealistic, but the whole interview had me wanting to grab DD from her crib and hold her all night.
I cannot believe what happened to her for 18 years!! Such a strong woman to make it through all of that, including raising her two children born of rape by the man who held her captive.

Didn't see the special but it reminds me of when Elizabeth Smart was kidnapped. She's one of my friends and it was absolutely horrible. I always remember saying I will never let my kids sleep in seperate rooms from me lol. Ya I am completely unrealistic too!

@BabyBoecksMom: I made my husband go check on LO while watching. I had no idea she gave birth to her first child at 14--I thought she was a bit older when she had her children. And I didn't know that she breastfed for 6 years. What an insane story--and what a beautiful and strong woman Jaycee is.
