can you tell the difference? i just assume it's all kicking, but i know it's not. especially since i feel it all over my uterus. all over. i guess later on, i'll actually see the body parts, so i'll know then. but i don't know what hiccups would feel like.

OMG hiccups are the cutest feeling ever!! I think you'll know when you feel a hiccup because they feel different from kicking/punching.
Hiccups are lighter feeling and they're constant. Each one is perfectly and exactly spaced apart. -
you can totally feel the difference between a hiccup and a kick. hiccups feel like a much slower heartbeat. it's like a rhythmic thump in one area of your belly. you can also see your belly jump in that one area every time baby hiccups. ours gets the hiccups regularly, almost once a day. it's such a neat feeling.

Took me forever to figure out hiccups, they are very regular, as kicks are very erratic and random. Ours gets hiccups daily, some times have lasted over an hour. As far as anything else, like Braxton Hicks- you feel your whole abdomen tighten.

you can def tell the difference. charlie and olive both had hiccups every day. i loved it!

I could never see body parts. Or tell what body parts. But the baby moves so much, so you do feel it all over! Hiccups are rhythmic and generally stay in the one spot until over. Kicks and jabs are random.... hits. Rolling is a constant pressure that moves from one point to another.
