What luggage do your kids have and where did you get it?
We are going on a trip in January when DD1 turns two and want to get her one but I don't know size, hard shell versus soft or what to look for in kids luggage.

LO doesn't have luggage yet but for our next trip I think I'm going to get her one of the skip hop rolling ones like this:

Bennett is obsessed with suitcases so I just ordered him one of the Skip Hop rolling bags - I can't wait for it to arrive so he can drag it around.

I haven't invested in real luggage for the kids yet. They're happy with their inexpensive character rolling carry-on suitcases. I recently got a great Black Friday deal on them. $15!

My in-laws just got DD a ride-on suitcase from Trunki. We haven't used it yet though. Before that, we just used a small duffle bag.

Just an update that my suitcase arrived this afternoon and Bennett was OVER THE MOON. He spent the hour between its delivery and dinner dragging it around the basement in circles. "Bye bye, mommy! Mommy, I back!" Repeat x 1000. It's super cute and seems sturdy but I don't think it would hold much more than a weekend's worth of clothes. It'll be a good carry on, though.

We have the Skip Hop rolling suitcase, and it's cute and functional for the price. I also have an old kid's Samsonite rolling suitcase bought about 7 years ago and love it. There is a big quality difference, and I know the Samsonite will last much longer than the Skip Hop.

So far I just share a suitcase with her and keep it under the weight limit so we only have to pay for one checked bag! But I bet she would love to have her own...

W shave the skip hop one and LO loves it! She loves rolling it around and it's the perfect size for her. Even at home, she enjoys playing with it.
But if LO gets bored, and you have to roll it, it gets annoying. I'm short but you have to bend to roll, and although there is a strap, you have to fix the length to wear the strap. Not a big deal but slightly annoying when you're in a hurry in the middle of busy airport

DD has this one from pottery barn teen (hers isn't personalized). She's 4.5 and loves it. DS will be 3 soon and has no interest in having his own luggage

She got this one last year for Christmas from my Aunt. She loves it! It holds a good amount.

My mom bought DS this one from American Tourister. I thought it was a lil big for him (he's 2.5 and small), but he tows it just fine! It's pretty roomy and since his clothes is still small, we can borrow some of his luggage space so that DH and I can just share one carry-on!

LO was gifted the same one @Smurfette: posted, except hers is Frozen themed. Even at 3.5 I really don't want her to bring her own luggage though; it's a PITA because you end up carrying it more than they do, and if you have your own luggage to haul it can get messy. At 2, we still wore LO through the airport, so luggage then for us was a big no.

LO is 3.5, we used this, and we got a lot of envy looks:

your child can sit on top of it and you pull and they ride it all over the airport. It is sweet We are in the US and somehow husband was able to purchase it. I am not sure how exactly did he do it. He may have ordered it directly from Trunki.
