I know some people love it and some people hate it and will never buy it again for their kids.
Yay or nay for you?

I say YAY, it is what baby sister is bringing DD when she arrives

I bought some for my son, and it's a pain! I tried to keep it all together and pick up a lot of it from the floor, but I am slowly allowing it to go into the garbage.

It's been fun so far. She's still figuring out how it works. I have found some in the carpet but it was really easy to pick up. That makes it lean towards yay for me.

I want some lol. There is a neat video on YouTube comparing all the different brands.

My kids LOVE that stuff so I say Yay!
We do it in the kitchen though so its easy to clean up!

LO loves it - we bought the Michael's brand, and there wasn't much mess at all (but she's neat to begin with).

Yay. We keep it in a huge bin and they have to play with it inside. It's like a sandbox. We do it on the tile floor and sweep it up after.

he's iffy on anything messy, but plays with it sometimes- I bought a full sheet cake pan and use that to contain messes, we also only play with it in the kitchen for easier cleanup.

yay! we got the one at target - not the cra-z-sand one, but the other one. I keep it in a closeable container (i know that's not a word lol) so I can put it away, and she plays with it at the kitchen table - she likes to bury and find small animals in it!

Never again! It was immediately ground into my carpet. If you have outside space in which to use it, then sure.

it is awesome but makes the HUGEST mess. the kids love it but i hide it. they can only play with it supervised. only outside i say.

Yay. My 2.5 year old really does love it, but it leaves a trail of sand everywhere because it will stick to her clothes and feet and while yes, it does have "clumping" qualities that help it bind to each other, it's still sand at the end of the day. She can play with it supervised. And MUST MUST MUST take off her clothes on a towel and wash up before running around to play with her next activity.

I hate the mess, but my LO loves it and it's a godsend when cooped up indoors in the winter. I usually limit its use to once a week, though, since the clean-up is annoying. Plus, I want it to be a special, once-in-a-while thing.

We love it. I had DH build a sensory table and DD1 plays with it in there, so mess is minimal.
