I want to start a blanket for the baby and have a HUGE stash of yarns but none of them are organic or baby soft like I've seen some yarn labeled...
Did you use yarn you already had or did you make sure to get yarn that had a baby on the label?

I didn't use organic or yarn labeled baby for any of my projects, but neither DH or I have any skin sensitivities so I was sure my LO wouldn't either. I just made sure to pick sft washable yarns.

Baby yarn wasn't the important thing for me, but washable was. I made sure to use washable yarn (and soft yarn, but I would want the yarn to be soft regardless) for the stuffed animals I made my LO.
