I was surprised, but I'm visiting my family and both of my parents separately asked me if we were planning on a third child! I said we weren't, and they both said we should consider it!!
Ok I'm done considering it, the answer is no. Haha I didn't mind at all, was just surprised! Getting asked was a lot harder before, when we were struggling with miscarriages.

But really, I had a similar experience yesterday. Someone asked me if we want a third one (we do) to try for a girl (I actually would be thrilled with a third boy!). Oh, and I have a 5 day old.

I'm pregnant with B/G twins and I was asked at our shower if we would have a third. I told them to see if we are alive and sane after these twins. Most people assume we are done since we have one of each but I guess they still want to ask.
My MIL saw a psychic with her friends (she does not go psychics) and what they told her was pretty much spot on regarding things going on her life. The psychic did say that we would have 3 kids... Yeah...

I'm pregnant so we have a bit of a break. Before getting pregnant, I was up front that we were planning on a second soonish, so people didn't really ask much.
I don't think we have gotten many "will you try for a boy" questions. The only people who have asked are people who are close enough to know how DH wanted a boy and I don't mind them asking.

No one asks anymore! We have twins that still don't sleep through the night after 15 months, plus we went through IVF, so people are smart enough Not to ask! 
My mom is still holding out hope that we end up with a 3rd, but she *usually* keeps that to herself.

DH's aunt asked last week. I was surprised when MIL & FIL both jumped in to tell her we were happy with our one. It meant so much to me.

They haven't asked since we had our D&C back in March, but before then, pretty often since DS was 18 months. They kept telling us "this is a good time!".

Not family, but I'm sure it will come up at our family reunion in October. Lately it's been people at church, but T shuts them down by saying daycare is expensive, so while we are considering it, it's not going to happen right now.

Luckily our parents never ask - I think my mom was in complete happy shock when I was pregnant with my first. Now they're thrilled we're having a second - but know this one will be the last

Before we stopped speaking for other reasons, my mom would make a comment almost every day about how we just HAD to try for a girl once she found out LO2 is a boy. It was infuriating given that she knew about our struggles.

I just had my 3rd and both my mom and grandma are trying to make sure we are done. We probably are but really its annoying too since its my choice how many kids I do or dont want too.

Never, thankfully! Our 20mo old twins are a huge handful and if that wasn't enough they took over 4.5 years and a ton of money...so, no, they don't ask!

I have the opposite problem, my inlaws assume because we didnt have kids back to back like my SIL that we're done with just one (she's not even 2 yet).

Yesterday I was asked at a family gathering. I was really upset with a food allergy issue and gathered people around in the family room to discuss. Everyone assumed I was making a pregnancy announcement.

Umm every single time I see any family member. It's constant. I have 2 pregnant SIL's right now, so I think they've just stoked the fire or something. Hoping once their LO's are here, everyone will BACK OFF!

We just had our 2nd and during friends and family visits to see the baby, a few asked if we're done or if we want more. We know we wanted at least 3 but it's just so awkward to get the question, especially our 2nd just arrived...

Right afterwards but we're one and done. I get it from strangers almost daily. "You make cute babies so you need more." is extremely popular to say to strangers I guess

Every time we see my family its hinted that we should have a third, or flat out asked if we are trying for a third. It's really annoying. Especially since I want a third and my husband doesn't. It's a sore subject for me haha

I've told a lot of interested parties (incl family) that we might be one and done, so people tend to ask less. In reality we are totally on the fence and will probably try for a second in a year or two - but because I *seem* adamant when I talk about it people don't ask!
