Just interested after 2 days at home with my toddler who is (THANKFULLY) normalizing her sleep again. It seems I can't get both, so if you had to choose (as if you COULD choose... haha)

5am is way way way too early. I'd take the 1 hour nap and later wake up.

Option A for weekends and Option B for weekdays..
We have Option B going on in our lives so the thought of sleeping in until 7 would be amazing!!

Depends...what time does RJ wake up and is this for weekends only?

@winniebee: RJ tends to sleep in a bit, but even if he wakes early he knows to stay in his room til 7! Then comes crashing in.
This weekend she did one of each. I definitely prefer the late wakeup!! Even on weekdays... because the 5am wakeup makes weeknights so brutal for us. Just the extra hour of sleep 5-6am makes such a difference.

Later wake up. I can handle a lot more, including a short nap, if I have slept. I have a really hard time falling asleep early at night so the early wake ups are so so hard.
C slept until 7:50 this morning. After a week of 5 am wake ups, we didn't even know what to do!! (Also since we never set an alarm anymore Dh was really late for work. Haha.)
