I saw trick-or-treaters being driven from street to street. Isn't the whole point of going out is to walk door to door???

we saw that a lot in la when you want to hit different neighborhoods. i guess it didn't seem that strange to me because you drive everywhere in la, even if it's just a block away!

Yes, that and coming to my door with no costume at all. I mean at least throw on a mask or something.

Haha...we had a lot of that last night but I was OK with it - it was rainy and gross out. I do not appreciate kids coming to my door in jeans and sweatshirts, though. I don't mind if your coat is covering your costume but COME ON...it's Halloween. At least paint your face!

We live on the top of a hill in a big neighborhood, and we don't get hardly any trick-or-treaters. What, you can't walk uphill for free candy??
Plus one year, we had a teenager come to the door, with no costume, on his cell phone! He said "hold on" to his friend on the phone, said "Trick or Treat" to me, then went back to his phone conversation. Ummm excuse me??

Well I know in some areas, where not alot of houses give candy people went around with their cars, but I had Mavi in his Radio Flyer Wagon!

Oh and not to mention those not dressed up but expecting candy. Get in the spirit people!

haha, I guess it depends on where you live! In the town I grew up in, you couldn't walk anywhere to Trick or Treat, unless you wanted to only hit up two or three houses! We always drove around. I guess if you live in a neighborhood where the houses are pretty close by, then you could walk.

Oh but I must say, I was pleased with the little kids this year. They said Trick or Treat AND thank you. Last year we had a lot of grump faces. It was nice to get both! I also love it when the parents prompt the little kids and they shake their heads and stand there all nervous, with their heads down. SO freaking cute.

I don't mind if kids are driven around on Halloween. Honestly, walking around in the dark seems really dangerous to me. However, I did a ton of trick-or-treating growing up and was never driven around.

Luckily, we only had cute costumed little trick-or-treaters last night but where I used to live, we would get a lot of teenagers in reg clothes and it always thought they should be ashamed of themselves. Like someone mentioned above, at least throw on a cheap mask or something.

We live in a fairly small subdivision and our street was packed full of cars! We didn't have very many trick or treaters either. Oh and what's with kids not saying "trick or treat" or "thank you"?! They'd just knock then hold open their bag...

We did a lot of driving when I was a kid, but that's because we lived in an area with no streetlights or sidewalks. Also, I remember two years where my mom let us ride in the back of the pick-up, mind you she was driving about 10 miles an hour so it was safe (and it was towards the last year we did T or T).
