Mine is heartburn. It's gotten way worse over the past week and it doesn't ever go away...not even when I'm sleeping. I know because I feel it during my bajillion bathroom trips every night. It is torture!

So many to choose from...nausea, heartburn and wrist pain!

totally agree...heartburn has been the worst by far! the swelling has been bad and annoying, but not PAINFUL at least.

Me too. And it never went away after baby was born. I have stashes of Tums EVERYWHERE.

Toss up between constipation which resulted in hemorrhoids, or heartburn. Oh the beautiful side of pregnancy

@JennyD: IT DIDN’T GO AWAY??? That makes me want to cry… I’ve been dreaming of relief as soon as he comes out

Sorry. Yours might!!! There's hope! Maybe I just bring it on myself by being a worrier? My sister had heartburn, as did some of my friends, and theirs went away.

Honestly the hardest thing for me has been the constant anxiety that something is going to go wrong with me or the baby.
But the worst physical pain has been the back/hip pain. I haven't slept comfortably in months.

@JennyD: Did you have any pre-pregnancy? I didn't so I'm hoping it's only temporary lol.
@MamaMoose: Oh gosh, physical symptoms aside, that’s definitely been the hardest for me too. I’m ready for him to just be outside so I can be SURE that everything is okay and be a *little* more in control of the situation.

Pregnancy acne!! I miss my pre pregnancy skin (although it has gotten significantly better over the last two weeks).

Just the frequent bathroom visits and discharge. I hate wearing panty liners all the time and stopping in every bathroom I see:(
Everything else has been ok! so far the heartburn is controllable but then again my baby sits super low so it's probably not as bad because of that.

THE SICKNESS. my word... it's bad. i threw up maybe twice in my entire life before being pregnant, so adjusting to the constant violent sickness is the worst. i'm ready to feel normal again!

Getting fat. My thighs becoming BFF and rubbing on each other all day.

@jholler25: Notice how in my bump picture I had my legs crossed so you can’t tell how much my thighs have “bonded”?? I’m with you!

@Running Elley: Not a lot. I had never taken Tums before I was pregnant.

carpal tunnel FO SHO. that crap didn't even go away after I was no longer pregnant. it wasn't til lola was like 3.5 months old that it finally went away. I also had to sleep in a recliner the last 4 months of pregnancy b/c I couldn't sleep on my sides since that aggravated the carpal tunnel too badly.

@Running Elley: Yes that's a favorite trick of mine:) Squeeze them together and make them look thinner because they're mashed together-haha!

Heartburn combined with the sensation that my food and drink are just pooling in my esophagus and choking me. Ready for all of my organs to go back to their normal position.

@jholler25: Oh this reminded me of the other bane of my existence!!!
-Thigh heat rash/”chub rub”…my inner thighs look pretty horrifying. They have been ruined by this! I’m hoping that it goes away before the big event when everyone and their mother will be down there! It’s embarrassing!

@highwire: I tell DH every day that my stomach/intestines are trying to escape up my throat. Not pleasant.

@Running Elley: Sorry dude. Again, I may be giving myself an ulcer with all the worrying I do, so maybe it's not heartburn, maybe it's an ulcer!
OMG . . . maybe I have an ulcer . . .

Symphysis pubic dysfunction. It started around 28 weeks, I think? Rolling over in bed was so incredibly painful. I couldn't walk too much or sit too long. It took awhile after I gave birth for things to somewhat go back to normal. I think it was around 6-8 weeks pp before I could roll over in bed without any pain.

@Running Elley: @jholler25: I have thighs that rub together now. Anytime I am going to be walking a ton in a dress, I use this, Monistat chafing relief powder gel. Found at Target in the ky section. Blue tube. Works wonders so you don't get the red bumps!

Peeing when you throw-up during lovely 3rd trimester "morning" sickness......
& heartburn is the WORST!
blogger / wonderful cherry / 21616 posts
oh what to choose what to choose
It'd be a toss up between the sciatica from week 6 or the inability to sleep because of being so uncomfortable (during the third tri I couldn't ever sleep more than 5 hours in a row!).

For all of the ladies complaining about chub rub, my friend swears by a swipe of deodorant between her thighs. Just saying...
I have a random numb spot on my leg. The doc said it was due to my uterus spreading and pushing nerves around. If I walk longer than about 10-15 minutes, it hurts, a lot! That's one of my least favorite, or the progesterone suppositories that I took for 6 weeks, or the throwing up every morning and night when I brushed my teeth. I have lots of "favorites" right nwo.

I'd say getting heavier and the pregnancy acne..... yucks

watery pregnancy discharge! Lovely!
Seriously - so not fun, has lead to 3 yeast infections so far.

@Running Elley: My heart burn went away the second DS was born, so there's still hope!
the heart burn was def. the worst. Mine was pretty much constant the entire 3rd trimester, not even Tums helped!

So far, it's my tailbone pain! I miss being able to sit down and stand up without having to brace myself and winceing in pain!

Ugh, the heartburn was the worst! I'd never experienced it before becoming pregnant and it was awful! I couldn't lay flat for hours after eating or it would start making its way back up my esophagus and it was NOT fun! Tums were my best friend but it was still awful. Fortunately, it went away as soon as LO was born, so @RunningElley, there is definitely hope it will go away as soon as your LO arrives.
On a different note, the thigh chub rub does not seem inclined to disappear any time soon after birth. I read that if you breastfeed, your body holds onto the fat stores it built up during pregnancy until you are done bf'ing. Sigh. I'm so over the chunky thighs!

Mine were a tie between the 30 weeks of violent morning sickness and no energy! I would have taken the heart burn and groin pain happily if I didn't have to throw up every day for months upon months. Also, not being able to nest because I was so exhausted all the time was such a bummer.
