I started spotting a little last night. Nothing major just a little blood on my tissue. This morning it is a speck of blood. Talked to my Dr. we did our regular 2 week labs & he told me to call him back in the morning unless I start bleeding more or have cramps. Then we will do an U/S.
Seeing blood just freaks me out even though this could be completely normal. All I want to do is stay home & watch movies today but I wasnt given an restrictions.

Ugh that is so stressful. I spotted at 6 weeks for a few days and then a few more times throughout my first trimester- especially after I did something like yoga. Glad your doctor is responsive about it!

I know they didn't give you restrictions but could you stay home and rest anyway? I know it's not always possible but resting may help. Glad your dr is on it though.

I had spotting on and off in the first trimester, it stresses me out but turned out fine. Even though you weren't given any restrictions try not to over exert yourself!

I had spotting throughout the first and second trimesters. It's too early for it to be an infection. Your cervix could be friable aka super sensitive with the increased blood flow. I would take it easy and avoid sex. The spotting I had in the second trimester was from infections.

@Sugar.Biscuit: I has numerous spotting incidents throughout my pregnancy. I did end up have some minor complications with pre term contractions but I currently have a happy healthy eight month old nursing away in my lap right now. As long as the bleeding isn't heavy and not accompanied by cramping try not to worry.

Did you ride a bike or have sex recently? That could cause spotting. Hope you can rest until you get some answers.

I had spotting during the first tri - I thought I had my period and was completely shocked by the 
. I had a bit more in the 2nd tri, but everything was fine and LO is great!

@MamaMoose: haha, that's awesome. That totally describes how mine was. It drove DH crazy since sex seemed to cause spotting.

@BabyBoecksMom: we haven't had sex in a couple weeks & last time I exercised was monday. It was all upper body but I did ride one of the lower seated stationery bikes at the gym. Only about 10/15 min though.
