I just got this one from a consignment sale. Its not really an umbrella stroller, but it works for now for $10.

I also liked the UppaBaby and McLaren but don't have that kind of money right now. I also liked the Chicco Liteway.

i have the maclaren quest but prefer the uppababy g luxe. the maclaren is sturdier, but it has a smaller sunshade and the brake in the back makes it hard to get up and down stairs.
i haven't used the uppababy and the brake is on the back on that stroller too, but in a less inconvenient place than the maclaren.
reclining was the most important feature for me, and we definitely use the recline a lot!

we have the uppababy g-luxe and LOVE it. Super light, folds small, and has a large sun canopy (with an extender). Id highly recommend it

if/when we need one we'll be purchasing the uppa gluxe. since they're local we can get one from the factory at something like 40% off!!
ETA: we'd probably actually get the glite since we don't need the reclining feature... RJ sleeps fine sitting up.

I'd get the uppababy! I have a maclaren and it sucks because it doesn't recline!

We got the Bumbleride 2010 Flite Stroller via BabyAge for $179. WOOT! It was super easy to assemble, reclines, I love the construction of it. There's a pretty decent size shade, comes with a infant car seat adapter that works with our car seat (Chicco KeyFit 3). The 2010 comes with a free rain shield while the 2011 does not.
I first heard about it via Babble. It's their Best Umbrella Stroller pick for 2011.

Maclaren volos don't recline. The Triumph and Quest do recline. We have a Maclaren Quest for DD1 and used it to pieces. It was fine for us lifting up stairs... I never loaded it up with too much baggage though either. It obviously will tip over that way and that's not what the stroller is built to handle. I didn't like the wimpy sunshade, so got a bigger attachment by Kiddopotamus. I am looking into the G-Luxe to replace it for DD#2.

I just test drove the Uppababy, Mclaren and Chicco's mentioned above and the Uppababy g-luxe was by far te best. The Chicco steered terrible once the babies weight was in the seat and the sun shades on both chicco an Mclaren are pointless. If you can take baby and try these out.
