Ugh..I got so sick off spinach last Easter..DD was 2.5 months and I was breast feeding. It was so terrible.

Every time I see something like this, all I can think is how we avoid deli meet like its so dangerous and then it's salad making people sick! Scary.

We totally ate two of the recalled bags, woops! No issues though. We almost never buy bagged salad but I was in a rush. Figures.

We had some of the recalled. I think only DH had it. Ugh. Never eating salad again!

@Foodnerd81: right! The NP at my doctor's office gave me the standard avoid deli meat line and I just laughed at her. I told her the last several listeria scares have been spinach, ice cream, hummus, and cantaloupe... I'll chance the deli meat.

We had a bag of dole in the fridge. I just looked and it isn't from the recall group but I threw it away anyway!

@kiddosc: That is exactly why I have always laughed at (and ignored) the deli meat recommendation. There are so many listeria outbreaks from other things and there have been no even semi-recent issues with deli meat.
