LO just turned 2 and got some money to go towards a car seat, so we bought one while we had a little money of our own to contribute towards the car seat we wanted. It's a FF only car seat (Graco Nautilus) and I'm debating if I should install and let her use or wait...LO1 we switched to FF at 22 months.
I guess I'm just going back and forth about switching her to FF right now or waiting....

Does she still fit (under height/weight requirements) in her current seat?

@BadgerMom: she does but I hate the seat, the straps are never even, and it's just not my favorite seat.

That's a tough call. I'd probably switch if the other seat was really a pain in the butt. My mom has a cheap seat in her car which is super hard to install and keep tight rear facing. We plan to switch it around at two to make it easier for everyone, but he only rides with her occasionally.

I would put up with an annoying seat pretty much for forever, but I am passionate about ERF. I wouldn't even consider switching her till she outgrows her RF seat.

I think she is safer in a properly installed and secured FF seat than a RF seat that maybe you don't always tighten correctly. So that's something to consider.
If you hate the other one I don't think it's a big deal to switch personally. We turned our Dd when the new baby was born and we needed the leg room for the driver. She was almost 2.5.
