I'm trying to find our "forever" stockings, and I would love some cable knit, white or maybe taupe, quality stockings.
Anyone know of a good source? I checked Hobby Lobby and Joann's but no luck.

Those are my favorite kinds as well. I have also seen many DIYs using thrift store sweaters.

I was also going to suggest a thrift store sweater! You could have so much fun with piecing those together.
I can cable knit, but I can not really knit stockings, so I have no idea how to make them myself.
