I have big hips, so straight leg or flare are what look good on my body type. Last time I just bought some pants from Motherhood, but they weren't all that flattering. Anyone know of a good maternity dress pants that kind of look like the Express Editor Pants (or at least are straight leg or flare)?

I don't like the Motherhood Maternity work pants either. I have had good luck with the Gap ones. The only problem is that they don't come in a lot of different colors... I think my office is going to notice soon that I only have 2 pairs of pants that I'm rotating.

The Gap perfect pants are... perfect.
I also really like their ankle-length straight pants (I think they come in black and navy). They run kind of big.

@Adira: I have on the first pair you just linked right now. I love them. I'm 30 weeks (have been wearing them since ~ 13 weeks) and they are still super comfortable. I also feel like I still look fairly professional as they aren't major flared like my MM pair.

For some reason, these Pea in the Pod work pants have low reviews, but I really liked them and wore them to work constantly, both pregnant and post partum. @Adira: I usually wear a 4 at the Gap and full disclosure... I kind of regret not getting a 6. They aren't tight, but my hips have expanded a little (first time pregnant) and I could use a little give. I worry I'm going to bust out of them by the end.

Motherhood pants are terrible on me too! I have a couple of pairs of flare-ish work trousers from Kohls that I'm a big fan of. They're "Oh Baby" by Motherhood, but they're cut really differently. Not super fantastic quality, but the price is right!

@Adira: i have the boot ones that you linked! i wore them during my 1st pregnancy and they were so comfortable! i'm wearing them again during my 2nd pregnancy but not as much as i like to now that the weather is getting warmer

@septca: I have a pair of demi jeans and full-panel jeans and I just find the full-panel more comfortable! So I'm just kind of assuming it will be similar with work pants.

@Adira: I had a pair from Target that were great. I have wide hips and thighs. They were roomier as I got bigger then my Target ones.
@septca: I hated demi panel. Gave me a muffin top and weren't as comfortable at all. -
@Smurfette: Yay! Similar body shapes! I'll have to check out Target! Though the last couple times I've gone, their maternity selection has been pathetic. Maybe I need to try a different one.

My only issue is that they are a little long so I have to wear my heels (wedges). Might have to order the "ankle" version for when I'm further along and want to wear flats, haha.

@septca: I apparently have no idea. My Express pants are 33" and I usually wear my wedges with them, but I CAN get away with wearing flats with just a little drag. These GAP pants are SUPPOSED to be 32" and they seem LONGER than my Express pants! I wonder if they accidentally sent me long...

@Adira: No, they are long. But in my experience, the ankle length are *short* so I would either wear heels or get them hemmed. Do you sew? I hemmed mine myself and it was super easy.

@septca: Yes, that's true, I can hem them myself. Maybe I'll do that once I'm too uncomfortable in heels (I had been wearing heels this whole time, so I'm used to them so far, but will eventually get too big to wear them, haha)!

I am pretty impressed that pants that fit me at 13 weeks are still going strong at 31+ weeks.
