I did Birchbox for a while and I was less than impressed and cancelled it.
I've heard good things about Ipsy. I want to try it. I've heard it's good if you're looking for makeup vs beauty/hair products. I've heard good things about Julep and Maven too, but they're on the more expensive side.

@bunnylove08: I tried Birchbox for 2 months. It's around $10 a month I think? You get 2-3 sample sized make up products.
@loveisstrange: ditto. Month 1 was a HUGE disappointment. I felt like I could have picked up that shipment via a magazine. 2 was better. I got a sample sized nail polis and a tube of lipstick.
