March 2019 POAS. - Lucky Leprechauns WELCOME!

So I have been dutifully peeing on OPKs this week and got positive/LH surge today!! Unfortunately I am on overnight call at the hospital tonight and again Sunday 6:30a until 9ish on Monday morning. So that will definitely interfere with BD-ing whomp whomp

Wow, I missed a lot this afternoon!

@Jessiemuller88: Agreed with @Kaohinani: You can't compare dry with fresh, and I see progression in these. I know how hard it is not to make yourself crazy, but one thing that worked for me was taking photos at 5 min and then using layout on Instagram to line them up side by side (obviously without posting to insta). All of my fingers and toes are crossed for good news for you from this blood draw.

@yellowbeach: So glad you have more hope, and that you and your husband are on the same page. I can't imagine how stressful this all is for you and having a teammate is so key in getting through stress (at least for me). I'll be so curious to know what happens with the 4 new eggs, just from a medical anomaly standpoint. It's so interesting to me that something that "never happens" happened (and yes your doc should totally publish a case report when it's over, especially if one of them becomes a baby).

So much luck, mama!!! I'll be on pins and needles waiting for your updates later in the month! You're overdue for a win.

@Sams Mom: $9.50 for a job where you're maintaining confidential information is downright criminal... I can't believe that's all they're offering. After taxes that wouldn't even cover daycare around here.

  5. Sams Mom

    grapefruit / 4492 posts

@karenbme: o yeah, I didn't even apply for those. The ones in in the running for are better, but still not what I was making. 🤷‍♀️

I'm pretty sure the director that did my second interview today didn't like me. For some reason 🤷‍♀️ I did not get a good vibe off of her, and she kept nit picking my responses, and trying to trip me up.

@yellowbeach: what a roller coaster! I completely understand the stress of DH. That part is probably the biggest reason I will stop soon and is more stressful than the losses I have had in some ways. I’m so happy you are both on the same page and have a plan! I’ve been following your story and rooting for you so much 💕

@MsHangry: I swear that schedule is half of what lead to DH and I’s infertility. Lol.

    clementine / 950 posts

@Jessiemuller88: oh man I’m crossing all my fingers! It’s so hard to compare but I know that sinking feeling too 💕 I’ll be looking for an update xxx
@bunbun: I see it!! I say test now! Lol

  9. Kaohinani

    grapefruit / 4144 posts

@MsHangry: Wow, that is definitely not an opportune time for having to BD! 😟 Shift work seems to hamper many people's TTC schedules (Yellowbeach with work, Sam's Mom's DH's career, my DH's job and being a reservist... We all can empathize and sympathize! ) Hopefully, you and DH can squeeze in a moment or 2 to DTD! 🤞

  10. Kaohinani

    grapefruit / 4144 posts

    @fuzzypeaches: How are you doing?

@Sams Mom: How did your interview go?

  11. Sams Mom

    grapefruit / 4492 posts

@Kaohinani: I'm pretty sure the director that interviewed me didn't like me. I don't know why, she just seemed very cold to me. 🤷‍♀️ Now I'm stressing.

  12. Kaohinani

    grapefruit / 4144 posts

@Sams Mom: Perhaps, she did like you but is just the type of person the exude that air about her (like as though she is the personification of RBF. 😂)? 🤷‍♀️ Still hopeful for you.

  13. fuzzypeaches

    clementine / 950 posts

@Sams Mom: I don’t know but if you felt that way in the interview maybe it’s a job you wouldn’t want?! 🤷‍♀️ some bosses are awful and I hate to say it but sometimes women are the worst to women that are junior to them.

@Kaohinani: when do you start progesterone?! I’m dreading it, it was so awful last cycle lol.
I think I hit O and O-3 so I’m hoping for the best 🙏 for all of us!
I’m honestly so relieved I O’d at all

  14. fuzzypeaches

    clementine / 950 posts

@MsHangry: Thai is the worst! I always have this problem too. I’m so embarrassed but when we were trying for our first round of #3 I made DH bring his “donation” to the hospital. In retrospect that was next level cray 🤣

  15. Kaohinani

    grapefruit / 4144 posts

@fuzzypeaches: I began my Crinone 3 days following my Ovidrel trigger. It is supposed to give time for a strong OV and then (supplementarily) "catch" after a surge so if any ova mate with sperm, they will have an amazing [* think high rise million-dollar] cushy spot to implant. It also maintains pregnancy afterwards, so I am ALLLL for it with my record.
I am so glad to read that you OVed as well 😁👍😉 ... and with your bedding schedule, it looks pretty good! (*It only takes one shot -- and YOUR chances are even better than that with OV and OV-3!). I am SO hoping to see wonderful things from you!

  16. Kaohinani

@Sams Mom: Email me with the deets (my daughter says this so bear with me! 😉🤣) from your interview.

  17. Kaohinani

    grapefruit / 4144 posts

Has anyone taken Crinone? I am having the most disgusting discharge (TMI - tons of white goo). My RE said I may have an influx of white or brown "crud with nebulous matter" but this looks like crazy EWCM. Just asking ... not for a "friend," 😉🤣 ....

Seriously, am I the only person on [ever] when I write?!?!? 🤷‍♀️😂 It seems like everyone is on when I'm busy (or sleeping). I am [almost but not] offended.

@Kaohinani: lol, we were at my parents for dinner, but I’m on now! I’ve never been on crinone, but I’ve always heard how gross it is

  22. Sams Mom

    grapefruit / 4492 posts

So I'm doing a ride along with my husband tomorrow night. I swore I would never do a ride along with my husband (don't want to know know what he does to avoid stress), what have I got myself into!?😂

Now I'm worried about temping. I guess I'll wear my tempdrop when I get back Sunday morning and sleep for a bit. Of course it's leading up to my temp shift.

  23. LAZB

    pomegranate / 3904 posts

@Sams Mom: oh man, that’s exciting!

  24. Kaohinani

    grapefruit / 4144 posts

6 dpt, 4/5 dpo - Temp is back down to 98.87°F. The HCG trigger is nearly out of my system so IDK if I am going to test past today. If I get my BFP, it would certainly develop a bit darker than this:

  25. karenbme

    persimmon / 1419 posts

@LAZB: Ooh, that’s exciting. And maybe it will be reassuring rather than stressful if it’s a boring night.

@Kaohinani: Looks good. Hopefully you’ll see a real line soon! Also, I’ve been feeling sick the past couple days so I went to bed EARLY last night.

  26. BUNBUN

temp back up this am too

  27. yellowbeach

    nectarine / 2648 posts

@BUNBUN: That's definitely not an indent! Happy !

    AFM, RE just called...

Our 2 fertilized embryos from yesterday are doing ok and continuing to divide.

Of the 4 that matured yesterday and they attempted to fertilize, 2 actually fertilized!!!

    So now we have:
    2 x Day 2 embryos
    2 x Day 1 embryos

We will get an update on Tuesday the day of our transfer of our two frozen embryos. There's still a huge huge chance they all could arrest in development before Tuesday, but I'm hanging on to this good news this morning because after yesterday, I was honestly just expecting him to call and say we now had none.

@Kaohinani: Trigger trend for your reference, and a case report of a healthy live birth after in vitro maturation:

  31. Jessiemuller88

@Kaohinani: that’s awesome that you have tested out the trigger! I hope to see a BFP from you in a few days!!

    @bunbun: congrats! That’s definitely a BFP!!!

@yellowbeach: I am so happy to hear your good news!!

@fuzzypeaches: As for me, things aren’t looking great this morning. I took my last FRER with SMU and it’s lighter than yesterday’s ☹️ I should get results from my 2nd draw today, but I think this is the end. I’m just praying it’s not another ectopic. I have had a pinching feeling on my right ovary (same one as ectopic) since I got my BFP.

  32. fuzzypeaches

    clementine / 950 posts

@Jessiemuller88: ugh - I’m still crossing my fingers for you bc they are still pretty dark and don’t look lighter at least to me on this pic, but I know more progression would feel reassuring.
it’s so stressful and you’ve already been through a lot 😕 let us know what happens!

  33. Kaohinani

    grapefruit / 4144 posts

@BUNBUN: Congratulations!!! 🎉🎈🎊WHAT AWESOME NEWS! I felt in my heart that it was to be a BFP!

@Yellowbeach: What AH-MAZING news! 😁🤞 So you have 4 viable "fresh" embies and 2 "chilly" embies ... that makes for atleast 3 transfers before you and DH consider anything further - So exciting! 👍👏😁😁😁 I feel as though the luck of March is with you! Also, thank you for indulging my geeky 🤓 mind with that study ... You are awesome!

@Karenbeme: Thank you! I hope the luck of March touches me as well, and I get my sticky #3. Also, I am sorry you are feeling cruddy, hopefully, it is a good sign. 🤞

@Sams Mom: Emailed you back a book series to champion your "novel." 😉😂

@Lazb: No worries! I was just noting the ironic nature that it is rare thing if any of you ladies are on when I am and vice versa. My timing stinks! 🤣😂

  34. Kaohinani

    grapefruit / 4144 posts

@Jessiemuller88: Thank you! As for you, I DO see progression (even though it is slight) from both of the SMU HPTs. Remember that HPTs only tell you that you are pregnant, not how pregnant you are. You may have a slow riser OR could have a beta of 300 and still show limited progression. 🤷‍♀️ You are also comparing dried tests (which appear darker) to a wet one which will skew "results" for a comparitive analysis.
I am hoping for the best for you 🤞🍀 and can't wait for the updated beta.

Side note: The Crinone is not horrible but the slight nausea, bloating, and constant hunger are starting to wear thin. I am sitting here with my coffee and feeling like "ugh!" (* I know, so descriptive there! 🤣 Just "ugh." 🤢)

@BUNBUN: That is a fantastic line for how early you are!!! Congratulations!!🎈🎉🎊

@yellowbeach: This is so great to hear! And the study is really interesting, too. I hope your transfer goes well 🤞🤞🤞

@Jessiemuller88: Don’t put too much stock in the line progression, for me the days I thought I saw nothing were the days it rose well and there was one day in particular where I thought I was fine, but my levels had dropped. I know it would be easier if you could see a dramatic change, but t try not to stress yourself out about something that may be meaningless. I’ll be thinking of you today and watching for your numbers. 🤞🤞🌈

@Kaohinani: I’m only 3dpo, so I don’t think it’s related... 😂 Although my sweet husband is so excited to be trying again that I’ve already had to remind him 3 times that I won’t have any symptoms for at least another week.
