@Jessiemuller88: I think your 15 dpo looks significantly darker that your 13 dpo. I would also say that line strength, at least for me, didn’t really line up with the quants. I did exactly what you’re doing last time, testing daily while they were drawing my betas and it was really hard to guess the progression. IDK what your doctor’s policy is, but mine wanted to get us in as soon as the level hit 2000 (before that they said they wouldn’t see anything in the uterus even if everything was fine) so hopefully you’ll get in soon.
@Kaohinani: That rose is def solid. Do you know what the trigger normally does to people’s temperature? The rises on days 9 and 10 are pretty small and generally in range with your other temps. I would call day 9 reversion to mean and day 10 random variation, potentially with some help from the trigger. But then you really took off on day 11. Especially if the trigger was supposed to work in a little less than 2 days, I think it’s fair to say that day 11 is the point where things really changed. Bummer that FF is going back to the inflection point and not looking at the increase in the rate of change.

@Kaohinani: Maybe FF will change your crosshairs when it gets your temp tomorrow.
It's funny how we generally have such different cycles, but still end up being cycle buddies quite often. I'm not complaining!

@karenbme: I agree! I think I may have OVed between Monday evening and Tuesday morning; therefore, I'd be 1- or 2 dpo. The Ovidrel trigger trumps the first 2 slow-rising temps. I tried looking for information on Ovidrel's effect on BBT but found nothing. 🤷♀️ I do know that the Crinone would cause an increase; however, I took my BBT before my 1st dose (yesterday morning). The Wednesday rise was quite significant and today's rise was even more impressive. I'm going to see what FF states in the next couple days while assuming the 38-hour rule stands.
@paranundrum: I was thinking the same thing! Thank you. As for our cycles aligning, my long luteal phase usually is equivalent to your long follicular phase so we end up [most cycles] meeting in the middle and OV-ing around the same time! It is too funny the way it all works out!
Edit - I found an answer (kind of)! I am indeed either 1dpo or 2dpo and I am 4dpt.

@Sams Mom: How are you holding up?
@Yellowbeach: Good luck today!!! 🤞
I'm hoping everything goes beautifully... Write in an update when you can.

Leaving for our retrieval in 20 minutes or so. I had to take doxycycline this morning on an empty stomach and want to puke like right now. 🤢
ETA just puked 🤮 and feel 1000x better.
Just for fun, my chart. And just for @Kaohinani: my OSOM yesterday morning vs this morning.
grapefruit / 4144 posts
@yellowbeach: Good luck! 🤞
Your chart looks fan-tabulous for a retrieval! Thank you for tracking out your trigger with me! Now, I just can't wait for your FET later this cycle!
(* It is a FET with the last of your chilly embies, correct? OR have you decided to do a fresh embie/IVF transfer?)

@yellowbeach: So exciting!! Good luck! (And sorry you feel crappy, but hopefully it'll be worth it)

@Jessiemuller88: pulling for you, I hope betas get you some answers and good news!!

@yellowbeach: good luck lady!!!
@Kaohinani: I think your crossbars should be moved forward to Monday at the very least because there isn't a true temp shift, just normal fluctuations.
@Jessiemuller88: I think 15 dpo is a tinge darker than 14. Now strep away from the tests! But let us know ASAP on betas.
AFM I must be having some kind of hormonal surge because I cried over how grown up my baby is post haircut OPKs are negative still though.
Picture because I just can't
Interview at 2 for registration specialist manager, second interview tomorrow for A/R branch coordinator? I think that's what they called it. I think they passed over me for the first interview (med secretary) I really liked because my interview today is for a department they gave my resume to.

13 retrieved - not quite as many as I expected but I’ll take it. We will get a phone call tomorrow and know how many fertilized successfully. 🤞

@yellowbeach: that's great! Hopefully all of them participate and make little embies!
persimmon / 1419 posts
@Sams Mom: Haircuts are the thing that turn babies into kids, especially if you cut it short.
@yellowbeach: Thirteen is still a great number! Fingers crossed you get thirteen little embryos in a few days!

@Sams Mom: I agree, thank you. So, I will be 1- or 2 dpo. I believe the Ovidrel trigger trumps the first 2 [slow-rising] temps. I do know that the Crinone would, potentially, cause an increase in BBT; however, I took yesterday's BBT before my 1st dose of Crinone, so it would only make sense if I OVED either Monday evening OR early Tuesday. I think I'm going to wait and see what FF does in the next couple days.
In my mind, though, I'll just assume the 38-hour rule for Ovidrel stands.
As for Sam, he does look quite dapper (and flipping adorable!) with his big guy haircut! You aren't the only one who reflects back and gets misty when their LO starts looking more "boyish" than "baby-faced!" G is losing the baby look at newly 4 and, when he gets his haircut, I can't believe how grown-up he looks!
@yellowbeach: 13 is spectacular! I can't wait for the update on how many embies come from this retrieval! 🤞

@Sams Mom: How did it go? I'm sitting here at Pain Mgt waiting (1-1/2 hours so far!) to see my doctor and wondering how your interview went.
nectarine / 2648 posts
@Kaohinani: Are you going to trend your trigger all the way into a darker line? I haven't decided - think I might just test the morning of the 12th (before my transfer) to know if it's all gone or not. Also - I was looking forward to us having the same POAS date... if my trigger is out, I might test on the 18th with you for solidarity... if not I'll worry testing too early might be a false positive from leftover trigger. Thoughts? Btw, sorry you are always stuck waiting at your doc. DD's pediatrician is the same way. Love him, but ugh. Fortunately all her other specialists run clinic like clockwork.
grapefruit / 4492 posts
@Kaohinani: it went well. Turns out I didn't get the first one I interviewed for because an internal transfer got precedence over me.
BUT the reason I was called for the interview today was because they passed my resume to this department and said they would have hired me if it wasn't for the internal. 🤷♀️

@yellowbeach: I have over 100 HPTs 🤦♀️(because I don't know how long this TTC-thing will take to get my BFP! 🤣
), and I'm such a science nerd that I'm thinking I may do it. 🤷♀️ It would be nice to know that the HCG is out of my system, so "if" I do get a BFP, it will be the real-deal. I'd love to share a POAS date (but no pressure).
grapefruit / 4144 posts
@Sams Mom: That is AH-MAZING news! You could end up with this one (which is great bc you stated #2 wasn't a "perfect" fit)!
Fingers (and toes) 🤞 crossed!

@Kaohinani: @yellowbeach: the thing that kills me about yesterday and today is the base pay+experience might not get me where I need to be
I do want to work for this hospital though

Ladies is anyone else having trouble logging in?! I keep wanting to post as this is by far the most exciting ttc thread ever! 🤣
@Jessiemuller88: honestly those look really good mama! As you know I have also had a few CP and this is better progression than I had with any of them! And mine (even successful pg) always lighter in the morning too. I might have missed this but are you going to go for betas? I’m always feeling crazy to go this early too but it’s such a relief.

Also re: my non ovulation story I finallyyyyy got a pos opk 5 days late! I am so relieved I thought for sure this would be the cycle that never ended.
persimmon / 1419 posts
@Sams Mom: Sorry you got bumped by an internal candidate. But getting passed along is a really good sign. I don’t want to jinx you, but usually when that happens where I work the person gets hired.
@fuzzypeaches: Congrats on the positive OPK! And no, I haven’t had any trouble logging in. Sorry to hear you have.
grapefruit / 4144 posts
@fuzzypeaches: Congrats on POS OPK! 🤞 I have not had difficulty logging in (but then again, HB is always open on my phone 🤷♀️.). I wonder 🤔 what is going on?
grapefruit / 4144 posts
@Sams Mom: A pay cut may stink, but you would be doing something you are are awesome at and enjoy ... and could [possibly] give you awesome coverage for a RE! I am super hopeful that this alllll works out. 🤞

Incidentally, it took over 2 hours for me to be seen by my physician. He rushed in the room when I stated I HAD to get home and would be inquiring about a refund on the co-pay I had paid 2 hours earlier.

@fuzzypeaches: @karenbme: @kaohinani: @bhbee: @sams mom: thanks for your thoughts ladies. I got my beta results from yesterday. At 14dpo my hcg-45 and progesterone-23. I’m going in for a repeat tomorrow.
I know you can’t tell much from one draw, but I hoped my hcg would be higher.

If anyone cares, the HCG (Ovidrel) and progesterone supplement (Crinone) are confusing the heck out of my dogs! 🤔🤣
Luna (1-year old lab-pit mix) is being very sweet and playful with me, AND Pililani (5-year old pup who has been through me being pregnant before) is being passive-aggressive (sleeps with me all night and will cuddle in the niche of my legs, but is standoffish). Funny how receptive canines are to hormonal changes and smells!

@Jessiemuller88: Some people begin fairly low and then gain momentum in the next few weeks. My bestie had a 22-miu at 16 dpo and her DS's levels continued to slowly increase until after 5 weeks when everything picked up. I am hoping and wishing the best for you as you [definitely] deserve a happy ending after so many tragic tales. 🤞 Keep us updated!
persimmon / 1419 posts
@Jessiemuller88: You’re right, you can’t tell much from one draw. I really hope you get good news from the second draw. 14 dpo is incredibly early. If the doctor was concerned they would have told you.
@Kaohinani: I’m always so jealous of how tuned in your dogs are! So sweet.
grapefruit / 4144 posts
5 dpt/3-or-4 dpo: My BBT is already up to 99.30° F! (* Wondering if TD will decrease it tomorrow? 🙄) OvaView gave me my crosshairs for March 5th which would make me 3 dpo ... FF changed my date from the 3rd to the 4th, which would make me 4 dpo. 🤔🤦♀️🤷♀️
My trigger is looking pretty faint -- I don't think I am going to make it to the 10-14 days with it in my system!
4-day variation of HPTs for trigger:
My OvaView chart has me at 3 dpo:
My FF chart has me to be 4 dpo:

@Kaohinani: Your dramatic temp rise continues!
Mine is also on the rise, but nothing as impressive as yours.

You guys... of 13 eggs retrieved, only 2 fertilized to embryos
And DH just said he doesn’t want to do this again.
☹️☹️☹️
This was not the news I was expecting.
persimmon / 1419 posts
@yellowbeach: Oh no! I'm so sorry.... You're not totally out with two, but I know you were expecting more. Do you have any frozen embryos, or are these two it?
Also, do you think your husband would come around to doing more if you talked about it, or is he more the type to stick to his guns when he says something like that?
grapefruit / 4144 posts
@paranundrum: @karenbme: Thanks, ladies! (It IS a crazy rise.) DH and I BD-ed 4x in a row and had the ICI on the 9th soooooooo, I am hoping/praying that 5x the spermies will do something on the 2 mature ovum.
@yellowbeach: Oh, no! That is a crazy punch to the ovaries!!! Is there ANY way to get your DH to go along with ONE more cycle to recruit eggs for fertilized embies?!?!? (Maybe agree to one more and set a cut-off date to let him know you respect his feelings/opinion, but, in YOUR heart, you "need" to keep going? ) You are doing a FET in the next few days, right? How do those embies look? When will they have graded your 2 new? If you implant this time and a following cycle, that gives you 2 more chances for a sticky BFP. 🤷♀️ I'm really trying to keep it positive for you, hun.
clementine / 973 posts
@yellowbeach: I’m so sorry! I know you are terribly disappointed. Hopefully those 2 embies are all you need ️
