@Kaohinani: that sounds rough! Iโm hoping all of this turns into a BFP for you!
persimmon / 1419 posts
@Kaohinani: That could totally be the HCG if thereโs still some in your system. The first time I got pregnant I was constantly starving at like 4 weeks and only not nauseous while I was eating. Itโs the worst. ๐คข I hope you metabolize it all soon and it isnโt a problem moving forward.

@Jessiemuller88: @karenbme: Thank you, ladies!
@yellowbeach: Yes, ma'am, I plan on depressing myself and watching my non-BFP positive HPT fade into oblivion. Hopefully, the 2nd line will make a comeback. My PA at the RE's office seems to think I have amazing chances this cycle ... THAT is a lot to live up to and hope for! I'm hoping my body does not disappoint and can make a sticky bambino.

@Kaohinani: I'm looking forward to riding the rollercoaster with you and watching your progressions. Do you use FF to chart your pic progression or one of your other apps? I don't like that FF doesn't show a label when you are looking at the actual images.

Ahh still no pos opk over here
Did anyone have a crazy long cycle after a chemical? Iโve had three chemicals (This last one was the lowest hcg by far!)but not had this happen before? Am so frustrated!
Ha anyone has just an anovulatory cycle? Are they longer/shorter usually?
grapefruit / 4492 posts
@fuzzypeaches: I've not had a CP, but I have had an anovulary cycle. I usually O CD12-15 depending on if I'm on meds or not. I still hadn't got a positive OPK by CD18, emailed my doctor, he told me it wasn't likely I would O at the point given I was on Femara CD3-7. Started bleeding the very next day on CD19

@yellowbeach: Thanks ... It's going to be a wacky, wild ride! I was going to chart progression using FF, however, the program stinks for it. I'm just going to take a series of photos with limited variables (* Same time each morning, same location with the same lighting, standing on the same side of the counter so my shadow is not cast, etc) while charting my temps and medication use. I have decided on a collage format for comparison (since I would not like to keep a collection of stinky FMU peed on HPT discs.
).
@Sams Mom: I remember that cycle! I had a really weird cycle that month as well and we were saying that it was a "funky" cycle month!
@FuzzyPeaches: All of mine came early after a CP. ๐คทโโ๏ธ You body may be re-acclimating itself to it's hormonal "norm" (fertility bio-homeostasis) so either you will have a late OV or an anovulatory cycle. Thinking now about my cycles, is there any chance you OVed early and didn't catch it? Would you like me to modify your POAS date?
@Paranundrum: Woo-hoo ! Nice rise on your chart!
โ--------
As for me, super dark HPT (still) ... atleast super dark for me. IT appears darker than yesterday's, if that is even possible.
I also received spotted crosshairs on FF. It states the I OVed on Sunday (which is when I took my Ovidrel injection so, um, NO, I probably didn't OV then). Hoping it changes it's mind and my OV date was Mon or Tues. ๐คฆโโ๏ธ In medication news, I will begin Crinone after I bathe. I am feeling unbelievably bloated and a little woozy, so stating the progesterone should make this "fun." - NOT! ๐๐คฃ

Question for you ladies who have been using fertility friend for a while, is it normal for like half the dots to be open? In general it leaves dots open on days when I take my temp before 6am, but thatโs when I wake up most weekdays. Plus it changes based on whether I discard Mondayโs temp (I had kicked off all the blankets and was freezing when I woke up)
clementine / 811 posts
@karenbme: FF leaves the dots open when you take your temp more than...I don't know...15-20? minutes later or earlier than usual or what FF thinks is usual.
What time did you take your temp on Monday?
I'm not sure, but I don't think it leaves circles open for much else than inconsistent temping time.
grapefruit / 4144 posts
@karenbme: Open circles are indicative of taking temps (or entering them) at inconsistent times (+/- 30 mins). If you mark that you are sick (illness), sleep deprived, or injured, you will also receive an open circle on your chart and for those temps (illness, sleep, injury) will not be counted. When you discard a temp, it can either manifest as a dot with no connecting line to the next discarded temp, or [if it is in between two active temps], the temp will disappear and will be replaced with a dotted line which connects the 2 active temps.
I hope this information was helpful.

@paranundrum: @Kaohinani: Thanks. My times are a little all over the place. The weekdays days have been pretty consistently 4:50-5:30, but the weekend was 7:30 Saturday and 6:45 Sunday, so idk if that would screw it up. If it doesnโt work for me thatโs fine, but kind of a bummer because Iโm super type A and want all of the data all of the time.
clementine / 811 posts
@karenbme: I have an alarm set every morning at 5.30, which is the earliest possible waking time for me. If I have to get up I temp and get up, if I don't, I temp and just go back to sleep.
grapefruit / 4144 posts
@karenbme: I wake every morning between 0445 and 0500 to temp to remedy any issues. Some days, I fall back to sleep for 30 minutes after I temp but I make certain that I update FF withing the 15 minute variable time frame. Honestly, the best thing I have found to circumvent the issues of inaccurate wake times, mouth breathing while sick, night drinks of water, and waking with the kids (or dogs!), was to purchase a Tempdrop. It takes your temp from 2 hours before you wake and removes the "white noise" caused by sleep interruptions, cool/warm temps, and sips of water. It measures your bpm, temperature, and sleep biorhythm. It also adjusts any erratic temps. You can even download the raw data to compare. It was, absolutely, worth the expense. Also, atm, they are updating the style and one can purchase a TD is different colors. Rereading all I wrote, I'm realizing that I KNOW WAYYYY too much about TD, the logarithm, and company. ๐คฃ
(* I can wall you with info and a discount code, if you are interested in looking into one.)

FYI - Crinone sucks. Within an hour of application, I began to have a headache, cramps, and my nausea is worse. I did not think it would affect me so quickly! โน This is frustrating - someone with high P4 (and a sensitivity) taking a progesterone gel just doesn't work. I feel like I am 6-7 weeks pregnant between the Ovidrel and Crinone! ๐คข
I'm hoping the "ick" is short-lived and leads to my sticky BFP.

@Kaohinani: @paranundrum: I guess I could set an alarm on the weekends, but I tend to have a hard time waking up and don't usually fall back asleep once I'm awake. Really I don't need/want to be up until 7 on weekdays, but my alarm is our lab who gets up with DH at 5am and thinks that everybody should be up if he's up. I'd be interested in tempdrop (you know I love a good algorithm ) What sort of discount are we talking?

@Kaohinani: Oof, that sucks! I'm sorry you're dealing with it, but hopefully your PA was right and it's going to get you your BFP!

@karenbme: I am not feeling this place. They were nice, but the job (even though they were both medical secretary) description was drastically different from the one I interviewed for last week.
The place I interviewed for yesterday called back for a second interview on Friday. Also called in for a first interview Thursday afternoon too.
persimmon / 1419 posts
@Sams Mom: That's too bad, but at least you're in a position where you have lots of other options and can hold out for something you're going to like. And that's great about the additional interviews!
grapefruit / 4492 posts
@karenbme: yeah, I'm surprised I was called back for a second so quickly. Yesterday they told me if I get a second I'll be called back Monday.
I'm pretty sure it's the best paying out of all of them so far, and I really liked the 2 women I interviewed with.
grapefruit / 4144 posts
@Sams Mom: I'm sorry to hear you are down to only 2 prospects. However, I am pretty excited that you are in the running for your 1st 2 ... AND that you received a call-back! ๐ค
persimmon / 1419 posts
@Sams Mom: Itโs such a good sign that they called before they said they would! Fingers crossed for you.
AFM, Iโm pretty sure I Oed today. In the morning my CM was slippery, but by 4ish it was more creamy (Sorry if TMI). Weโll prob BD today and tomorrow just to be safe, but pretty sure all the action is over. Iโll see if my temp is up tomorrow. Side note, possibly a little bit crazy, I know some people take Mucinex to thin their CM, but Iโve been taking it the past couple days in hopes that itโll make the mucus? in my tubes thinner/slipperier and help any embies make it to my uterus. I have nothing to base this on except throwing everything at the wall, but fingers crossed.

4 dpt - The line on my HPT is definitely getting lighter. Since I'm using my 20-miu tests, I can only assume that I have far more than 20-miu to produce a functional (albeit light) line. ๐คทโโ๏ธ I am having difficulty in figuring out what dpo I am ... Using the 38-hour dpt rule, I would have OVed early Tuesday morning; HOWEVER, my temps (& FF) dictate that I OVed the day of my trigger ๐คฆโโ๏ธ. I really don't think FF is too sure of my OV date (* as represented by the dotted crosshairs). I am affixing all of my data and I'm hoping some of you HB ladies will look at it (@Yellowbeach: @Sams Mom: @Lazb: @Karenbeme: @FuzzyPeaches:) and anyone who has used Ovidrel. Thank you in advance.

@Kaohinani: That temp rise is impressive!
Mine is still climbing too, but not as impressively.
grapefruit / 4144 posts
@paranundrum: Thank you! Yours is lovely ... the initial rise is impressive!
Incidentally - According to my FF, I am 4 dpo; however, using the 38-hour dpt rule, I am 1- or 2-dpo ... we are on the same cycle again!

Iโm in FRER hell again! I keep testing (like a crazy person) and the lines are not getting much darker. I called my doctor for an ultrasound appointment, and they said I had to do betas- per office protocol. I went in yesterday, so should get results today. What do yโall think about the lack of progression on my tests?
grapefruit / 4144 posts
@Jessiemuller88: You are testing every 24 hours. "AVERAGE" Doubling rate of HCG is between 48-72 hours. Look at your first HPT, then days 13 and 15. One can see a definite progression! HPTs are not great for quantitative values, they simply just give a "yay, or nay" to whether ir not you have measurable HCG in your system. I would wait for your primary and secondary betas since they will determine "how pregnant" you are and viability ... with that stated, I do understand (with my whole heart) that pregnancy after loss is difficult and generates much stress and apprehension.
