@bees_knees: I think this month will be on my late end of normal... I've O'd as early as CD9 and as late as CD16. I'm thinking I'll have a 15-16 this month.
persimmon / 1064 posts
@Sams Mom: CD9?! Hopefully my CD23+ egg isn't all old and shriveled up.
grapefruit / 4492 posts
@bees_knees: 9 is not ideal either, it's basically prepubescent average for me is 12-14 (depending on medicated or non medicated cycle)
persimmon / 1064 posts
@Sams Mom: I don't think I've ever O'd earlier than CD17. Makes my cycles drag on foreverrrrrrrr.
grapefruit / 4492 posts
@bees_knees: the first time I didn't O until CD14 (Clomid, because pp cycles were about 24-26 days) I thought I was in ovulation purgatory π€£
I wouldn't be sane waiting much past 16 to O honestly. I'm too crazy for average to normal long cycles. π€¦ββοΈ

@yellowbeach: I'm not sure. I emailed with her quite a bit yesterday evening, and I don't think she said anything was going on today π€·ββοΈ
Sidenote: I'm surprised we didn't get to 96 any one last night. Usually the crazies are out in full force on 3rds. We did have to go remove someone that had been forcefully removed from the hospital property from some random dudes house she wouldn't leave. She knocked and asked to use the phone but shoved past she took up residency on their couch π€¦ββοΈ

I feel like I need to post just so the board doesnβt think weβve abandoned it. Tomorrow is a new day, hopefully with some BFPs for some ladies in the group.

@Sams Mom: DD has one of these terrible 4 hour βinterdisciplinaryβ NICU follow-ups tomorrow. They conveniently schedule them on top of lunch and nap time. π After the last one I said I wasnβt going back, but the doctor mom in me doesnβt want to be labeled difficult or non-compliant.
grapefruit / 4492 posts
@yellowbeach: is snacks and a tablet enough to make it through? I can't imagine it is. 4 hours for a 2 year old is FOREVER & a day.
So is this mandatory for insurance to cover any treatments she may need because of her NICU treatment, or is it a statistic for the hospital? I would have a hard time committing to an unnecessary 4 hour appointment, especially spanned over her nap and lunch.
Especially since this is an appointment scheduled by children's doctors offices (I'm assuming), knowing that she's 2 since her pedigree info (what do non cops call that?) is right in front of them; who needs nap and lunch at 2 anyways?

I had an impressive temp spike too! Unfortunately it was because I have a fever and not cycle related. There's nobody who can cover for me today so I'm at work and feeling reallly crappy...I'm hoping I can stay in bed tomorrow.
persimmon / 1419 posts
@yellowbeach: Oof, 4 hours is intense for a little kid, but especially over nap/lunch time. Agreed with @Samβs Mom: thatβs something Iβd think long and hard about, or at least would have pushed back on timing when scheduling. But idk what gets you labeled difficult.
@paranundrum: Sorry youβre sick, and especially that you have to work while sick. Hopefully someone can cover tomorrow.
I was rising, but then had a big dip today. Iβm only 5 dpo, so probably not implantation unless itβs another ectopic...

Morning, ladies.
I haven't read anything on the board yet but apologize for my absence. I felt ill all day yesterday (hot, nauseous, headache, threw up, tired) and slept off the sick nearly all day. I want to blame the progesterone but I could be "just sick" (since DH has been feeling very fatigued and DD brought "something ick" home from school [Note - she was quarantined all weekend])- Which is No Bueno. I'm still feeling tired and all-around funky this morning. I will try to be more present on the board today.
Have a wonderful Monday, all!

Ok, ladies, I'm dropping in with a bfp, but I'm also anxious about my progression. My lines got a little darker from 10-11dpo. But the line at 11dpo was pretty dark. And it's stayed about the same. I'm 13dpo today. I go in for a beta tomorrow morning. What do you think about a line that is already dark but doesn't get much darker for a couple of days? This was from this morning, 13dpo, but it was about the same on Saturday morning, maybe just barely lighter.
grapefruit / 4492 posts
@Chuckles: I would say you could pull a + on a digital at this point. Once you hit that dark of a line to might not get much variance at all. I've seen tests on glow that never pull dye from the control, but still have healthy pregnancies, and others that get super dark, and have healthy pregnancies.
Thankfully you're getting your betas soon so you won't have to wait much longer. Keep us posted π€π€π€

@yellowbeach: Glad to hear youβre a go for tomorrow! π€π€
@Kaohinani: Sorry youβre sick! Are you feeling any better today? It wasnβt the same around here without you.
@Chuckles: That line is really strong for 13 dpo! In my experience lines donβt correlate to quants. I had 2 weeks of serial blood draws with my last pregnancy and peed on sticks daily, but could never guess what the level did. Fingers crossed that youβre just more hydrated this morning and your level comes back strong and rising!! π€π€

@yellowbeach: Fingers crossed for you tomorrow!
@kaohinani and @paranundrum: Hope you're both feeling better.
Feeling like a drop-in adding this news, but I hope something good is in the works. I've been on Clomid, and it sounds like it's normal for Clomid to delay AF for a while. Tested every 2-3 days starting 9 dpo, just in case. Four or five BFNs by 16 dpo, and (sorry for TMI) some spotting and light bleeding one night.
Told myself it was okay to feel disappointed and try again this cycle. Joined this board. On 19 dpo, I took another hpt so I could call my doctor to see if we'd have to induce a period before starting the next cycle at a higher dose--but it had a thin line. Finally a BFP?!?
Tested again 2 days later and there's still a pretty good line!
Still nervous about getting a positive late (maybe the low hCG levels are a bad sign?), and monitoring progesterone levels. But this might be happy news. Booked a first appointment in April and am keeping fingers crossed for now. This would be November if it works out.
Grateful to all of you for sharing this space. This stuff is NOT easy, and you are so brave and generous. Wishing you lots of good luck this month.

@breakouttheicecream: one of the rules in temping is 18 days of sustained elevated temps (18 door) is a sure sign of pregnancy. Some women it takes a while to build up HCG in your system for a test to detect, especially if you start with a lower number in the <5=negative pregnancy levels. (Takes longer to get to 6 with 48-72 hour doubling from 1 than 4-5 as your starting number)

@Kaohinani: hate to hear you're feeling like crap... Buuuuuuut what does your temps look like?

@bees_knees: Nice lines! Perhaps your follicles are taking so long to OV bc your ova are "slow growers?" It takes some women forever for their follicles to grow to a minimum of 15-mm (* 18 - 24 mm is "optimal") ... π€ Perhaps that is what is going on this cycle? π€·ββοΈ Would you like me to move your POAS date?
@Sams mom: I hope your crazy "spidey" senses are right! π€

@Kaohinani: yes you can change me to 3/24! This is really my first real cycle pp so Iβm sure that has something to do with it. Plus Iβm still nursing DS3 and hormones be whack while youβre nursing

Thanks, everyone. Sorry for not posting more, but I'm following along and rooting for everyone. After 4 losses in a row, I'm trying not to be too focused on TTC. And thanks to everyone for being so reassuring. I'm somewhat hopeful for my bloodwork tomorrow, but I also am expecting the worst after all this. I think that having had a missed MC and blighted ovum, I won't feel even a tiny bit comfortable until we see a heartbeat, and that's just as a start.
