Do you feel prepared for your bundle of joy? Is your nursery organized and have your purchased the important gear?
I am starting to panic with 6 weeks left! I have so much to do!

5 weeks left and NO! Nursery is STILL not happening and I just have a pile of baby stuff sitting in the office. Still have to deep-clean house, make freezer meals, pack hospital bag, and organize baby stuff. I guess I don't feel the kick to make the perfect nursery since we're moving cross-country not long after LO arrives.
At least most of the gear is bought...

I feel ready! < 3 weeks to go. Food's made, nursery is ready, hospital bag is packed....I'm getting my hair done Friday, the cats groomed Saturday, and I have a spa thing for a few hours Sunday that I am excited about! I want her to stay in until March 24th, though. There's a baby garage sale the 23rd i want to go to, plus my gym is having a baby shower for us pregnant ladies on the 24th

36 weeks and I'm feeling pretty good in terms of preparations. Nursery is pretty much ready to go (save for some art that I'm waiting on from Etsy, but obviously that isn't necessary for the baby!), all the real necessities have been purchased and are ready to go, car seat is installed etc.
Still need to pack my hospital bag (although I have at least made a list of what I want to pack) and wash a few more baby items. Have already made a bunch of freezer food, but will make the rest on my list later this week.

Maternity leave started today - 1 more load of baby laundry (to do thursday. after the wee sale here in annapolis), finish packing my hospital bag and buy a couple more things. As for baby's nursery? All we have to do is take out the last of the trash in there, vacuum and hang up the art work
If baby came tomorrow, I think we'd be okay As for being emotionally ready? Wellp, I don't really have a choice in that matter and from what I've heard the maternal instinct really kicks in once baby arrives so here's hoping because I've spent the past nine months being freaked out about how i'm going to responsible for another human being

Due in 6 weeks and starting to really feel the crunch. We sat down last night and made a list of "to do" and "to buy" and are trying to get it knocked out. It's busy season at work for both DH and me, and so I'm just feeling really behind and stressed. I keep reminding myself that the big stuff is done - the car seat is purchased, the crib set up, the clothing bought. Buuuuut... 6 weeks seems like very little time for everything that we have left!

Um, no. 10 weeks left and we have NOTHING ready. Only furniture and a stroller and a car seat. No pediatrician, not a single item if clothing, nothing. My shower isn't until I'm 36 weeks and the plan is to do registry completion the same weekend and really hustle. Yikes

@JoJoGirl: I'm in this boat as well. 10 weeks to go and the roo where the nursery will be is still OUR room and our future room is still the office...that's what you get when you try to finish grad school and have a baby at the same time! My shower is this weekend and I think that will kick my butt into gear...

Technically I have 6ish weeks left but as I sit in labor and delivery its become clear to me that we will likely have baby within 3 weeks. We def don't have everything. Mainly a car seat which was to be on the budget this pay. So we have to make sure That purchase happens lol

5 weeks to go and we're in pretty good shape for this little dude's arrival. Nursery is 99% complete (waiting for our bookcase and some etsy art), laundry is done, bag is half packed. Big to dos are our birth class and hospital tour (this week), and order the last bits on our registry (pump and all bf related stuff, diapers). We're so excited!!!

Realistically, all you NEED is the car seat and some minimal things. The rest just means you have to ask for help Mom, friends, siblings, etc. I would be MORE than happy to help unpack baby stuff/wash bottles/cook for a friend who had her baby before she felt she was ready!

I feel pretty ready, with 4 weeks to go! I'd like to get some more food in the freezer, and I have a few things to add to the hospital bag, but we are pretty set
Nursery is complete, which reminds me I need to take some pictures so I can share!!!

@maybebaby: I'm TOTALLY regretting planning the shower for so late now (logistically difficult coordinating 3 planners, DH, me and my parents' schedules!).. hopefully we can manage!
