@AmeliaBedilia: ohhh this happened to me last month, I know your devastation. Sending you lots and lots of hugs

@Crystal: I feellike that too, that is what pushed me to get help. I'm really sorry to hear about your BFN, those things suck!

  4. littlek

@sandy: thanks friend! How are you doing?

@AmeliaBedilia: I'm so sorry hun. We've all been there - it truly sucks!!!! ((hugs))

@littlek: I'm sorry to hear about the DOR. It sounds like your doctor still has a great plan. I have high hopes for you!!

@Crystal: Yes. Each month that passed TTC, I knew more and more there has to be SOMETHING wrong. It's tough. I'm thinking the fact that you were able to get pregnant is a great sign though!? Not that hearing that makes your journey any easier!

Still waiting for my doctor's office to call back. I really hope they're able to send me somewhere else...THIS cycle. Trying to stay positive after being so negative yesterday!

@Crystal: I'm sorry you're feeling down . I can't imagine the pain of a MC but I think all of us who have been trying for 6+ months feel a lot like you. It's so tough seeing others get pregnant so quickly and easily (some without even actively trying).

    cantaloupe / 6687 posts

@AmeliaBedilia: so sorry . I hate this crazy cycle of trying to be super positive and getting your hopes up and then realizing it's not happening. Hugs

@littlek: this is my first cycle after the whacked out 15 day cycle so my CD 21 testing was a bust and I have to redo it. So I'm just killing time to see how this cycle is going to pan out and what the testing will show. My husband is traveling next week which will be my fertile window...couldn't plan around that one bc the crazy short cycle threw everything off. But it's my birthday on the 16th and I'm excited for lots of cake

@doxielove: All these tests are so day specific that if you miss one, I feel like you are a cycle behind. I kick myself that we didn't go to the RE CD1, like I wanted and instead waiting till a Friday (CD6) like DH wanted and now we are waiting 2 cycles to start treatment not 1. I know in the long run, it isn't a big deal, but now it feels like an eternity. I can't wait for us all to get our BFP, sticky babies and we can celebrate together...

@sandy: Yay cake! Are you doing anything special for your 35th bday? I did not but I think I will have a BIG bday when I turn 40.

@Sprite: I'm soooooo excited for you!!!! Is this your 1st IUI?

  12. sandy

    cantaloupe / 6687 posts

@littlek: nothing special...definitely will do something amazing for my 40th. We'll have dinner with my in-laws (MILs birthday is 10 days before mine). And go have a brunch with my parents. I'll also do a mani/pedi or shopping trip with some girlfriends.

@littlek: as a woman on her journey for baby #2 who is over 35 and also at risk for DOR (I had a test just before I go pregnant with my son 2 years ago saying I had low AMH) I just want to offer you my empathy and support. I have seen A TON of great outcomes which give me hope as well. It can sometimes be a bit of a longer haul but I have the utmost faith. I hope it happens right away for you so you don't have to deal with the yearning any longer. @sandy: this goes for you too. It might take us a bit longer but I have so many friends over 35 and pushing 40 who got pregnant. We WILL get there!! I hope as soon as possible.

@AmeliaBedilia: I'm so sorry! I know how devastating that is. HUGS!!!

@Crystal: I totally feel what you're feeling. Granted, I know something IS wrong on my end, with the crazy long cycles and PCOS and all, but sometimes I do question what God's plan is for me. I feel so ready to be a mother, but maybe the natural pregnancy will not end up being the path for me. It's so hard to just trust that everything will work out, even though I know it will. Scary...

CD11 here, negative OPK this morning, will check again this afternoon...and two or three times a day every day until I get that stinkin' positive! March 18th is hanging over my head like a really REALLY dark cloud...I need to plan something fun for that day to distract me!

  15. Snowdrop

    pear / 1846 posts

@sarahnicole218: hopefully you will get your positive OPk before the 18th. I'm really dreading my 1 year anniversary too but mine is still a few months off. 1 of my close friend's due date is two days before so it looks like I will be celebrating it by visiting a newborn, yay!
Have you got any ideas what to plan fir yourself?

@Crystal: I'm sorry to hear you've been feeling down. I know exactly how you feel, wondering if something is wrong. If you can, I would encourage you to seek help from your doctor sooner than later. Even if there is something wrong (and there probably isn't because these things just take time sometimes), it can be really helpful for your mental state to at least know where the issue is, so you can concentrate on overcoming it.

@AmeliaBedilia: I'm so sorry to hear this. You had every right to have your hopes up. Keeping you in my thoughts and hope you enjoyed some wine or chocolate last night!

@doxielove: oh my gosh, they need to call you already! I'd be calling them every afternoon until they get you an appointment. How hard can it be to schedule this, even if it's with another doctor, geez!

@sandy: I hate it when cycle lengths throw things off like that. Hopefully you guys can at least BD right before he leaves and right after he gets back, you never know if your O date might be thrown off from the short cycle, and you could still hit it. Oh, and happy early birthday!

@sarahnicole218: hang in there, CD11 is still really early for a positive OPK, especially on clomid. And two or three times a day is smart if you have the time, no chance you'll miss the surge when it happens.

@littlek: are you chart stalking me? If so, patience. Nothing is real until a digital says so, and it's too early. Maybe tomorrow...

  17. Miss Sarah

    persimmon / 1259 posts

@Snowdrop: No plans yet, but I'm thinking a date night is in order!

@Sprite: It's definitely way early for me since I normally ovulate super late...but I'm hoping it's the last month for OPKs, so I'm just going to use them all...lol. Good luck to you, per @littlek: and her chart stalking comments.

  18. littlek

    GOLD / squash / 13576 posts

@Sprite: Yes, I'm stalking you... digital smigital... FRER is gold...

  19. littlek

    GOLD / squash / 13576 posts

@sarahnicole218: I forgot, are you working with RE or OB?

  20. Miss Sarah

    persimmon / 1259 posts

@littlek: OB for now...she specializes in infertility, but if this cycle isn't the one and they do not pursue anything more than a CD21 blood test, then I'm moving on to RE. I will make sure to ask for a uterine ultrasound before I start another round of Clomid to make sure my lining is OK and no new cysts have developed. I've already started researching REs in my area...I'm prepared! I think...

  21. littlek

    GOLD / squash / 13576 posts

@sarahnicole218: Are your clomid cycles monitored by U/S? I would definitely look for that because clomid can thin your uterine lining.

    @AmeliaBedilia: big hugs to you.

@Snowdrop: big hugs for you too. I hope your journey ends in baby soon.

@littlek: My first cycle wasn't, but they mentioned that they would at the end of this cycle, so we'll see how that goes.

  24. littlek

@sarahnicole218: fx this is the last cycle you need!

@AmeliaBedilia: I am so sorry, friend. Lots of hugs.

@Snowdrop: @sarahnicole218: I'm getting close to my "anniversary" as well. Lots of love to you both.

@sandy: @littlek: @Snowdrop: @doxielove: @sarahnicole218: Thank you so much for the support, ladies. I am trying so hard to keep the faith, but its really difficult when I see so many people come and go. I know I can't compare my journey to others, but its hard not to sometimes.

@sarahnicole218: FX this is your cycle!

  29. littlek

    GOLD / squash / 13576 posts

@Crystal: TBH that's why I try and stay away from that thread.

  30. Sprite

@littlek: FRERs may be gold, but scary when in direct opposition to digital read outs. I feel a lot better about things today than yesterday, but still very guarded. I need to see the word written out before I will really believe it! Now I finally understand why some around here refuse to use anything but digitals.

  31. Miss Sarah

    persimmon / 1259 posts

@Sprite: I understand, but I'm feeling excited Can't wait to hear from you tomorrow!

@Sprite: I just looked at your chart and I feel like I missed something.... did you already test?!?!?

  34. Crystal

    grapefruit / 4028 posts

@Sprite: What'd I miss?! I am hopeless at looking at charts, but from what you said, I assume you are excited about your chances this month?

  35. Snowdrop

@Sprite: wait, what is this I hear?!

  36. littlek

    GOLD / squash / 13576 posts

@MrsMcD: @Crystal: @Snowdrop: I need to teach you all how to stalk... look at the "test" line...

  37. deactivated_account

    GOLD / pomegranate / 3938 posts

@littlek: Hahaha! I did look at that line and that's why I feel like I'm missing something here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Or is the point of stalking to keep our mouths shut about it? Yikes! I don't know what I'm doing but I'm going a little crazy here.

  38. littlek

    GOLD / squash / 13576 posts

@MrsMcD: It's a bummer but I'm glad to know what I'm working with.

Just came back from accupuncture. Really REALLY like this doctor. I'm going to go at least once a week. This plus IUI in April will hopefully bring me a BFP.

  39. deactivated_account

    GOLD / pomegranate / 3938 posts

@littlek: Its absolutely a great thing to know what you're working with. I'm excited you did acupuncture. I am really interested in doing it but just haven't yet done so.

@MrsMcD: @Crystal: @Snowdrop:@sarahnicole218: you guys are too funny. No, you didn't miss anything. @littlek: is just a good stalker For reals though, I've gotten some conflicting test results on different brands because it's so early, so I'm not ready to officially call it yet, and betas won't even be until next week. I'm hoping by tomorrow maybe all the HPT results will line up, and if so, you guys will be the first to know! In the meantime, I'm tempering my excitement and feeling cautious and nervous.
