@littlek: I hope acupuncture works wonders for you! I used to do it once a week, and it was almost like a mini therapy session on top of the relaxing part. I just wish it weren't so expensive or I'd do it forever.

@Sprite: Okay. I will temper my excitement too..... (eeekkkkk!!!)

@MrsMcD: you're the queen of "I only trust digitals" so it's partially your fault! I kid!

@Sprite: Oh my gosh... Did I earn that reputation? I absolutely understand why girls use the wondfos or other non-digital tests. But I just can't stand the interpretation requirement. BUT with hpts, a line is a line is a line. Dark, light or whatever. If its there..... no interpretation needed.

@MrsMcD: LOL, I swear I just saw you comment on a thread in the last day or two about OPKs where you mentioned digitals only, so yes, that is your rep, at least in my mind! It's not a bad thing at all though. I actually commented on the previous page how I can definitely see why people like digitals so much. Guessing and squinting isn't very fun!

@Sprite: ok, I won't speak a word more of it until we have an official digital announcement.... But that won't stop me being excited

Well this is fitting. The day my friend gives birth to her 3rd child, AF decides to show up. Thanks, universe.

@Boopers: stupid universe. Big hugs.
@Sprite: oh my gosh!!! How exciting!!! Erm, I mean, how normal and I will see tomorrow? Lol
@MrsMcD: ugh, I'm over non digitals. Digitals are so much easier to read.

Is anyone changing their diet or trying Chinese herbs? I am thinking about getting this book called the Infertility Cure. Has anyone read it?
persimmon / 1259 posts
@littlek: My friend told me about that book at work!! It is definitely something I'm interested in. Right now, on the diet level, I'm doing my version of The PCOS Diet. But I'm sort of starting to consider the "alternative" medicines. I used Vitex for one month before starting Clomid and it resulted my shortest cycle at only 45 days. Now that I'm Clomid, I stopped the Vitex, but I am drinking Raspberry Leaf tea, taking Yoga, and considering starting acupuncture.
Let us know what you think of the book! I've heard good things about it.

@littlek: You should wall Running Elley... I think she made some drastic diet changes while TTC,

@sarahnicole218: I was reading the reviews on amazon and it had a ton of good reviews. I went ahead and ordered it.
@Crystal: That's good! I'm trying to do that too plus be more consistent with workouts. The acupuncturist said not to ease into it so you don't throw your body into shock.

@littlek: let me know how you like the book. I might be interested in reading that.
AF was due yesterday if following my preMC 28 day cycle, today if following last months pattern. No sign yet, but also not even a squinter on this mornings HPT wondfo. I definitely don't feel pregnant, though, and based on some cramps I'm having, I think I'm out.

Ok, no more suspense, I'm ready to come clean officially!
After over a year of charting, OPKs and fertility supplements, many anovulatory cycles, 6 months of acupuncture, 5 rounds of Clomid, being diagnosed with DOR and likely LPD, a Femara + injection + IUI cycle that was canceled due to crap lining and poor response to the meds, and after a second injection cycle with shots for 11 straight days, it looks like the IUI was a success!

@Crystal: Wondfos are crap. I'm still getting sketchy squinters today after they've sat for a half hour.
