Does anyone have/did anyone have this?? I think it's called chloasma officially.
If you had it, did it disappear after the birth of the baby? Any suggestions for treatment OR covering it? I am on the lookout for a good concealer that will do the trick ...
You can really see it here in the selfie I took to show my mom that when I am not wearing makeup it's quite noticeable!!

I had it both times but worse with my 1st pregnancy. I had it on my neck and underarms. It disappeared after birth but took a few weeks, maybe a month at most?

Not on my face so not really the same - but I had this all over my back. It completely disappeared after pregnancy

I haven't had it but my mom got
It with her second and third pregnancies.

I think it also might be called melasma? I had it before I got pregnant, and it got worse. I won't know until after I give birth if it goes away. I've found a good concealer for days that I really care to put makeup on to cover it up.

@wrkbrk: my sister got this after her first and she still has it 2 years later. I got a little on my cheek this pregnancy, I'm only 2 weeks pp and still there so we will see. I know there are some products out there to help get rid of it!

I had it and it was triggered by sun exposure. Unfortunately mine faded but never went completely away. I now use 50+ SPF every day because any sun exposure makes it come back worse. I also use coverFX concealer which works awesome! I'm sorry you are dealing with this. I was shocked and frustrated when it came out and then never really went away. Hopefully yours fades faster after baby arrives!

I had it around my mouth. The best thing I found was Physicians Formula concealer in green/medium. The green helped with the redness and the skin tone helped me blend.

I have it on the sides of my eyes/cheekbone area 
I have quite a few small moles as well which have darkened, as well as melasma spots on my chest and tummy and new moles. ughhhh. I think I will have to crack out some kind of whitening regime post baby.

I still have it on my face (looks like raccoon eyes in pictures now!) as well as my neck, and am 5 months postpartum.

my underarms became SO dark! I am not sure if this is the same thing or not but it went away after LO was born.

Thanks for the responses! I will look into the products mentioned, I went to Nordstrom today and bought some Bobbi Brown foundation the makeup lady recommended for the immediate future! It is not an attractive work look. Lol.

@wrkbrk: wanted to update you - mine went away within a week of giving birth. My permanent pre-preg melasma is still there, but what went really dark during my pregnancy is now gone.
