I have a pair of Gap maternity jeans and I hate them! They look good in the morning but the butt area starts to sag by the early afternoon!
How many pairs do you have? Which brand is your favorite?

My old navy maternity jeans do this. It's annoying. I have a pair from motherhood that hold their shape much better

@autumnlove: I hate mine too. I have the long and lean, one a demi panel and one full panel. The full panel get so saggy. I just don't like the demi panel cause of the demi panel, they fit better in the butt. I have two pairs I got at Macy's, don't know the brand, and they are ok. Still can't find some that I really like.

I had a pair of low rise old Navy maternity jeans that I wore every day and they kept their shape! I'm ashamed to say how infrequently they got washed.

@Mrs. Blue: I wore these sooo much during my 3rd trimester of my first pregnancy. Maybe I stretched them out too much and they are too big for my 2nd tri?

I have 2 pairs! One pair from motherhood and one from thyme, which is a Canadian store. I like them both!

@mediagirl: I rarely wash my jeans... maternity or not! Like very, very rarely... My best friend thinks it's the grossest thing ever, but my jeans are in great shape because they're not over-washed!

I had 3 or 4 pairs? 2 pairs were from Kohl's and I loved them. I had one pair from Old Navy that was so-so - they usually got baggy by the end of the day.

I was going to suggest the Gap Long and Leans, boo My Paige jeans also fit nicely.

I had a pair of old navy ones that I got off ebay and a pair from motherhood. I really liked both pairs.

@Smurfette: I thought my pants were gonna fall off today!

I didn't buy any. Just wore my prepreg jeans for as long as I could and lived in gauchos and comfy pants after I got too large for my jeans.

I had Sevens, Joe, Citizens, Old Navy, and Mimi Maternity. Mimi was my favorite, but they went out of business I think... They seem almost exactly like Motherhood Maternity jeans/pants though.

- My Gap Always Skinny Full Panel are the worst, but I think it's because I either a) got it too big, or b) am not big enough yet to hold up the full panel. I am constantly pulling or tugging at them to come back up as they are slinking down my legs and the crotch area is falling down. Or, I am folding the panel over to try and make them a little more snug to hold them up better, but then there is a weird line through my shirt.
- My Gap Straight Leg Demi Panel are the most comfortable and I rarely wash those ones. They are thicker and not as stretchy so they don't sag.
- I wear the Mama J skinny J Brand jeans with no panel at all, under the belly. They sag on my butt a little, but not from stretching out. Those ones hold their shape the best.

@shopaholic: I think skinny maternity jeans are always going to be hard to keep in the right place. I have 2 pairs and have to hike mine up constantly (which is hard with no waist band!); I guess it's hard to contour them right? If your full panel doesn't stay up, it's probably just too loose for your body. All mine are full panel and stayed up even at the beginning of 2nd tri when I wasn't showing and my stomach was flat. Now that I have a decent-sized bump they have grown with me.

@tororojo: you are probably right!
@birdofafeather: I should have ordered some with them, but never tried any of their bottoms to know the fit.

I got mine from H&M. Full panel and never had issues with them staying up. I think they were $28, so cheap I got a black pair too! And I wore size large(non maternity) tops from there, they are nice and long!

I am going jean shopping today! Does anyone else have any brand recommendations?

I hated my Gap pair too! The panel was super itchy and they always sagged in the bum at the end of the day.

I have a couple pair from Old Navy and one pair from ASOS. My favorite, by far, is the Rockstar pair from ON. I hardly ever wash them and they keep their shape really well.

My favorites are from Old Navy- the low rise ones hold their shape really well.

I loved the Secret Belly Fit jeans from Motherhood when I was pregnant with DS. They were so comfy and I didn't have any issues with keeping the belly panel up.
