I actually have a totally different shape than you (pre- preg, kind of straight, smallish boobs but tend to gain weight in my middle, and taller than average) and I've tried on a few maxi dresses that just make me look HUGE. Like, I think I look ready to pop as soon as I put them on. I don't understand because I see other people in them pregnant and they look so cute. So, I don't have any specific advice, but wanted you to know it's not only your shape that the lovely maxi dresses don't flatter. I've tried maternity and regular. I think I need to try a lot more on-- not ready to give up, but sheesh.

What about a maxi skirt with a fitted tank? I rarely see maxi dresses on women that look GREAT on them. I think the flown skirt looks best with a more fitted top

Yes, ASOS can solve all your problems. I have big boobs and carried high, so I had no pregnancy waist, and some of their dresses were fantastic on me. Let me find a good example:

I'm on the petite side, but am also short, and large chested. Since spring, I've been partial to maxi dresses, and flowy, maxi skirts. I was surprised they flatter my stature and shape, since I always assumed they were made for very slender, tall women. I tend to belt maxi dresses, which makes my belly pop, and the rest of me look pretty slim. I don't like how shorter dresses ride up in the middle, from the belly.

It's too early for me to give you advice as I'm not showing yet, but I just wanted to commiserate because we have the same exact body type and it just isn't pregnancy friendly, haha. I have always felt that my flat stomach and tiny waist were my best features, so I'm anticipating just turning into a blob once my tummy gets big like my butt!
