4DPO *twiddles thumbs* I really really want to be 12 DPO today. Ugh, king way off.

@MrsMccarthy: lol. 7 dpo here..i forgot how much the two weeks drag! I'm not too bad yet since it's month 1, and I still have cold feet anyway. but I'm sure in a few months I'll be symptom spotting at 1 dpo

Opk was positive this morning but we didn't DtD last night! Agh! Hoping the night before and today will be enough . Just happy to be ovulating right on schedule after the miscarriage. I wasn't sure if I did last month.

@sorrycharlie: oh man! So excited to find out how your month went! Are you gonna test early?
@Tidybee: you should be just fine with EOD until O+1 and you usually O without 15-36 hours of opk. Good luck! I hope this is it for you!
hostess / watermelon / 14932 posts
@MrsMccarthy: possibly monday (9 dpo) just because I have a whole lot of cheapie tests. I got a positive with Olivia at 9 dpo..I'm not feeling super "this is it!" this cycle, and the cycle I was pg with her I had this crazy gut feeling. not that every pregnancy is the same..but we will see!
eta: just realized I'm 7 dpo today, not 6. lol.
honeydew / 7295 posts
@sorrycharlie: nice! Well it will be very fun finding out! I so wish I was 7DPO. 4DPO feels like such a drag!
hostess / watermelon / 14932 posts
@MrsMccarthy: awww. Olivia's been a drama llama lately (teeth and just developmental) so that has kept me way busy! and so grateful to have some quiet time to MYSELF when she's in bed. lol. I'm enjoying my 1-baby time before it all gets rocked how are you liking nannying?
honeydew / 7295 posts
@sorrycharlie: aww poor Livi! I here that! Molars are killing us but month 5 is also getting to me so I can't seem to not think about it. I saw a newborn with his mom and older sis and it made me cry. I am so ready. I love nannying even though its tiring and I'm gla it's only till summer. That little girl makes me long for my second too. I have my moments but for the most part at this point I'm sooo ready.

@MrsMccarthy: @sorrycharlie: I have no idea how many days post-O I am...either 4 days or 6 days. If I O'd at all! Yeesh, what a mind game.
cantaloupe / 6634 posts
@Espion: I am right there with you.
I have no idea where I am in my cycle. According to FF, I either O'ed yesterday or today but I have had no symptoms at all. No cramping or noticeable CM. I had cramping for a few days on and off shortly after my period but it wasn't strong like they normally are. So I either O'ed earlier on and probably didn't catch the egg or I still haven't O'ed.
nectarine / 2834 posts
@simplyfelicity: I had that issue last month. That's why I switched to the OPKs this month as much as I wanted to just let it happen. I needed to know if I was ovulating after the miscarriage.
cantaloupe / 6634 posts
@Tidybee: Yeah, I might try that in a cycle or two. I would just get the one with the happy face. After my mc, I just wanted a more chill month. It has been, relatively, except for the fact that my body seems screwy. We are BDing regularly (at least every other day from cd 11 or 12) so if there is/was an eggie, I am sure wase there were some swimmers I'm there. I am trying to just trust my body but its hard when I am worried that something is wrong
We'll probably just keep BD-ing EOD until CD 20 or 22 (or until its super obvious I o'ed) and call this cycle a wash.
nectarine / 2834 posts
@simplyfelicity: That's what I did last time. Just went until CD25. I was so ready for a break haha! Hang in there...I'm sure if it doesn't work out, it won't be for timing. So many people have crappy timing and still end up pregnant. I try to remind myself of that...

@Tidybee: Thanks! You are right, this may just not be my month and for reasons completely out of our hands. I am pretty ok with that as we would just like to get PG by October for work stuff. I know I can get pregnant (last month was our first time off BCP) but its about it being the right time. Did you find this cycle to be more "normal" than your last cycle after your mc? BTW, I am very sorry for your loss.
I see that we are POAS date twins! I am wishing you the best of luck!

mothers day. happy and grateful to enjoy it with my son and family but sad about bad cramping and spotting. I kind of wonder if i might be further than 5DPO and have ovulated on CD16 which would hopefully make me at least in the 8-10DPO region. Not sure though. It was a sucky weird month. Anyway i know i'm not out till I'm out but i feel really out. I hope you all enjoy your day.

@MrsMccarthy: @Anya: thanks ladies!
Man, looks like May was a good month so far though! Lookie at all these BFPs!
nectarine / 2834 posts
@simplyfelicity: thanks and my condolences to you as well! I think it's great news that you got a BFP so quickly. This is my 3rd cycle after miscarriage. First cycle seemed totally normal - more normal in that I had all signs of ovulation (rare for me) on the right day and I had a 14 day LP...also rare for me. The second cycle was wonky. No signs of O and then 5 days of spotting. So annoying. This one so far seems somewhat normal....

@MrsMccarthy: hugs.
@Pumuckl: congrats!!!! Happy Mother's Day!
@simplyfelicity: according to the dates of my cycle I o'd at a certain time but like you I had no signs that I could notice...and then I started kicking myself for thinking not using OPKs would help be more relaxed! I still have no idea if I o'd or not but I'm at about cd24 so I'm sort of just trying not to think about it! Which is impossible!
cantaloupe / 6634 posts
@googly-eyes: Yes, you are me + 7 days. If you don't mind my asking, did you have a bd plan this month or were you waiting for o symptoms? We started eod on cd 12 and I have the faintest inkling I o'd on time but I don't really trust it. We are just going to bd eod for the next few days as I am sure the stress of the CP could totally throw it all off. So basically, I am totally unclear!
I totally hear you though. DH and I wanted to forgo OPKS as those were stressful. So now I am stressed because I feel like this cycle is wonky. This is only my second cycle TTC, so I think its just going to take time to figure out what works for me.
cantaloupe / 6634 posts
@Tidybee: I think what I have learned is that after a CP you could be super fertile or infertile. You might O on time or way before or way after. You might not even O. You might have all the O symptoms or none. I guess this is why the body is such a mystery...there is no real answer and each woman is different each cycle.
GOLD / pomelo / 5737 posts
@simplyfelicity: our "plan" was basically as much as we could during the week of o. Dh was working A LOT at that time period so it turned out to be about eod. This is cycle #1 for us and all I did to prepare for ttc was to start just figuring out how long my cycles are which has been 29-31 days... That being fairly consistent idk why I didn't have o symptoms but we moved, had family in town, and traveled twice now (were out of town now) so my cycle may just be totally off. and everything I've read (just googling) has basically taught me that there's just no telling except to wait it out!
cantaloupe / 6634 posts
@googly-eyes: Exactly, everyone has such different experiences cycle to cycle. I feel like I need to be more patient with my body after my chemical but it just makes me want to be a mom even more. Well, I am pulling for you! Are you TTC #2?
GOLD / pomelo / 5737 posts
@simplyfelicity: yes, this will be #2. I have an almost 20m old daughter. Thanks, I am rooting for you too! May seems to be a pretty lucky month so far.

I have been MIA on this thread for a little bit (work & life have been crazy) and missed a lot! Congrats to all the BFPs!
I guess I'm actually still technically in for May, since AF started a few days early for me this past cycle. I started taking vitamin B6 the day it came to see if it would extend my LP a bit. I'm currently at CD8, no fertility signs yet. I'm expecting to O somewhere around CD17-19, which would mean I could POAS on the last day of May!
