Have you seen them? It's a room with a few computer based games. They're all touch screen and a touchscreen interactive table for group activity. It's cool but at the same time sad that kids don't run around and play anymore.
What are your thoughts??

So depressing. I just showed DH and his response "they probably figure kids can't get hurt there". It's sad what this world is coming to!

@Beyond2: I think your hubs is totally right about the motivation. Plus... More sanitary than those nasty ball pits. But man it is depressing how much our children will be trained to rely on technology for entertainment!!

That's not a playroom in my book. How sad. As much as I hate germs, I'm all for the unsanitary ball pits and play structures. Kiddos need to really play not sit in one and stare at a screen. In this case, bring on the germs.

Well, considering the pushing, shoving, and hitting going on the last few times I was at one of the normal play places in McDonalds, I don't think the old style or the new one are great ideas.

@mrbee: I don't know if they have anything out there, this is a picture we took when we went to McDonalds this afternoon (we're addicted to their Chocolate Chip Frappe). I mentioned to my husband how sad it was and he told me that the McDonalds by his mom's house has 2 or 3 xbox stations. Maybe it's only something in Ca? Which makes me even sadder.
