At my 24 week appointment yesterday my fundal height is suddenly measuring closer to 26 weeks. I was/am in shock! Because, honestly, I've just started to actually show in the last couple weeks! The bump doesn't look 2 weeks ahead, for sure! My weight has basically stayed consistent, I'm just now up 4 lbs.

At the 20 week ultrasound baby boy was measuring on track, "maybe a little bit ahead" according to the tech. I would think that a little bit ahead, does not mean 2 weeks!? The tech never notified my midwife about a size discrepancy/extra fluid either.

I know there are many factors that could play a role in measuring ahead, but I'm barely 5'2" and hubs is 6'5"- basically a giant! So I'm a little worried that I'm going to have a ogre baby!

Should I wait until I'm consistently measuring ahead to freak out or go ahead and get mentally prepared for naturally birthing a giant baby?

It's just a growth spurt, right?!
