I have had migraines for years, once getting to the point where I was having them daily until I went to a special Headache Clinic in Philly. After treatment with various meds, they were well under control. During my first pregnancy, they went away completely, and didn't come back until I stopped breastfeeding at 14m. At that point, they started coming back monthly, pretty much timed with getting my period, whereas previously they'd never been related to my hormones.

ANYWAY. I'm now 15w pregnant and have been having borderline-migraine-strength headaches almost every day. For a while i just thought it was 1st trimester stuff, then I had a terrible head cold, but they're still lingering and I'm miserable. They start as a dull ache in the morning and just ramp up all day long. Tylenol doesn't even touch them.

I tried Imitrex previously and I didn't like it. I've heard Fioricet is safe for pregnancy. I don't even really like taking Tylenol when I'm pregnant, but I'm nearing desperation. I'm exhausted and tired of feeling crappy. What did your doctor suggest or prescribe for migraines?
