I just started the minipill on Sunday and I'm already bleeding heavily! Did anyone else get a period or heavy breakthrough bleeding soon after starting the minipill?
ETA - I'm only 7 weeks pp

The minipill was super weird with me. I remember not liking it, but I don't remember specific bleeding. My "cycle" wasn't consistent and my bleeding was strange, but I can't remember what was strange about it.

I only had a tiny bit of spotting about 1 week in, then nada until I stopped it 8 months later for ttc #2. I really liked it, I didn't gain weight and I felt good, unlike the previous pills I'd been on.

Yes. After I started it I bled for 16 days, had an eight day break and then another 14 days. My body seems to have regulated itself now in the third month of taking it.
My doctor said it might just take some time, but I was sad to be getting my period so soon again when I was EBF.

I got my period at 3 weeks PP and I get AF about every 10 days. I wish the mini pill was strong enough to regulate my always wacky cycles but I still breast feed so hormonal BCP is off the table.
