Yes! It's sooo good! I really really can't wait until the next season comes out. I'm so torn on whether I really want Jack and Phryne to get together or not, I know the show is headed that direction but the tension is just too good as it is...

I watched them all when I went on mat leave before the baby was born! Obsessed. I want season 3 so badly!

@PurplePeony: I hope it doesn't turrn into a will they or won't they ad nauseum situation! But I think they could kiss and keep their flirtation without it having to turn into a relationship.
What was that one line in the fashion episode, "at an hour a little less dangerous, in a dress a little less evil?" I loved that!
@junebugsmama: any idea when it comes out?
I'm reading one of the books now. It's fun, but you don't get to see the clothes.

I really like it! I've only seen like half of season 1, I should get back into it...

@jedeve: I think its kind of far away. It hasn't even aired in Australia yet, as far as I know. Do you (or anyone) have a recommendation for a similar show you enjoyed?

@junebugsmama: I'm all about foreign (mainly British) period dramas! Other good ones: the Bletchley Circle, Bomb Girls, Mr. Selfridge, Call the Midwife. There is also Midsomer Murders which is not a period piece but similar murder mysteries. But I'm open to more suggestions! I just love Essie Davis though.

@jedeve: did you watch Sherlock? Modern day but I loved it when I watched it recently !

@junebugsmama: that's a good one too! I haven't seen the latest season.
Man, I really need my British (or Australian!) period drama fix! I'm all caught up on call the midwife and Mr. Selfridge. It is my naptime/laundry time routine and now I'm sad without a show!

@jedeve: There is a 3rd season out now! I just saw an episode half way through on PBS the other night (yelled turn it off turn it off its a new one!). trying to find a place to watch it...

@junebugsmama: So I haven't watched this show (but it sounds like something I would like), but if you download the PBS app they usually have full-length episodes for current seasons of their shows. That's how I watched the most recent season of Call The Midwife since I was usually busy when it aired on TV.
