My SO seems more extraordinary the longer I know him! I'll report back on that in a year though after LO arrives..

I really need to appreciate my DH more. Perhaps that should be my new years resolution. He's completely awesome but, as that quote points out, you get used to the awesome and it just becomes the standard.
Oh and I wouldn't need to nag if he did things first time! Hahahaha! Only kidding! Kinda....!

I think it's true. DH is the most amazing, extraordinary person I've ever met, but sometimes I forget that and just wish he'd get home in time for dinner! I know he out doing amazing things, but you do forget and sometimes you need a lil reminder to make sure you continue to appreciate them & all the things they do

I love MF! I thought that was a good quote, too. I think there is a natural tendency to get de-sensitized to the awesomeness of our spouses. I find myself doing that sometimes and have to remind myself to remember all those things that were so amazing and extraordinary to me initially because they're still there and I've just grown accustom to them.
