I had one last night and I think I feel better today! I was just feeling overwhelmed with LO's recent health and thinking that I won't love my 2nd baby as much.

Awww! You will, everyone says it happens!!
I had a mom guilt cry fest the other night when LO was sick again. I was feeling bad that I was "too cheap" to get him a nanny and he's sick all the time. Psssh.

@winniebee: Yeah, LO's health has been worrying me a lot. I know daycare babies get sick more but the last couple of months have been rough and makes me think I'm being cheap too!

aww you are a great mom! sometimes babies just get sick. my mom was a fantastic mom, I didn't get sick often but my brother did all the time. she did exactly the same things with both of us!
I'm sure you'll love baby #2 just the same as E! I won't lie though, I have the same fears. I want a second for O to have a sibling, but I'm so afraid I won't love the second as much as her, because I just can't imagine it! everyone tells me that when you think you'll have to divide your love, it only multiplies.

Every parent worries about the love thing I think.
They all say the same thing in the end though, so I wouldn't worry!
Just shower your Lo with lots of love while you're a family of 3!!

Aw my dad said he'd been worried about that when my sister was born but the moment he saw her he loved her just as much. He had two more kids after that and said the same. My MIL had 7 kids-loves them all to bits, you'll be fine.
I've only been a mum for 5 weeks but the guilt already kills me. I defo think it's just part of being a mum.

@autumnlove: You're a GREAT mom, and will continue to be GREAT for #2
I hear you on the health thing. Daycare told me that they have an RSV outbreak and W woke up this morning w/ green snot in her nose and a cough so I'm worried about her getting sick again. I feel guilty that we can't afford a nanny and have to depend on family to watch her, often at the expense of messing up her schedule. I want to try for #2, but if we can't keep #1 healthy, how in the world are we going to keep 2 kids healthy?
I also really worry that I might play favorites if we have another baby.

I hear ya... We are having a health relapse in my house. DS had vaccines Monday and is having a terrible reaction and DH is mad at me for letting DS get vaccinated when we just recovered from pneumonia. I sent him to day care all week too (horrible mommy guilt but I have minus vacation right now) ! Point being, you are not alone... You are doing great. This too shall pass (my parenting mantra). Oh and yes you will love #2 so much! I worried the it wouldn't happen but it did :-). I was pleasantly surprised.

I hear ya, mommy guilt is a terrible thing. Every time I think #2 is a bad idea, I remember how much I love my own sister and how loved I felt by my parents all the time.

@autumnlove: Much better today, no more blood and she's acting very normal. I'm thinking it was just an aberration but I'm keeping a close eye on things. Thanks for asking
