LO is 11 months old, and is starting to become a super clingy mommy's girl. She's always preferred me, but now she will barely even let DH hold her if I'm anywhere nearby. She wouldn't let him put her down for bed tonight, though he's been doing her bedtime routine since she was 2 months old. I suspect it's normal separation anxiety mixed with preparing to wean (we're down to nursing 2-3x/day). Has anyone else experienced this around 11 months and/or weaning?

We go through that once in a while. LO is totally a mama's girl. It peaked at around the 10.5 month mark when we traveled to Cuba. It was awful! I couldn't even give her to DH to hold while i ate dinner, so i had to eat dinner while holding her. It got a bit better after we returned, but i'm still the parent she prefers.
How long has she been like this? It could be because she's noticing a change in things. I hope it passes for you soon! I know how tiring it can be.

Our first daughter has always had an especially strong mama preference. Our second daughter is more balanced.
