Did you notice that your boy kicks more/harder?
Baby2 moves around more and kicks so much hard than my LO did.

I have nothing to compare it to; but I know baby boy kicks all the time and I had no trouble feeling him at 17-18 weeks even though I have an anterior placenta.
He's been causing a lot of ruckus the past couple of days switching positions and moving up higher (i've been carrying low).

Yes! My son kicked way harder. It felt like jabs and punches. Whereas when I was pregnant with my daughter, I felt more like a rolling and turning sensation.

@Rubies: seirously.. if he's anything like his dad, I'm in trouble!!!! DH was a wild boy!

My daughter was way worse. It might have been because the twins didn't have as much room to move and my daughter flipped like an acrobat but hers were way more painful

DS was so much stronger than DD; however I did have and anterior placenta with DD so her movements were a little muffled. DS was and is freakishly strong, though.

Not for me. DD (my second pregnancy) seemed to kick me harder! Maybe its the second pregnancy more then the gender...?

I don't know what #2 is yet but have noticed only a slight difference between strength of movement in my two pregnancies; get the same obnoxious rolling feeling with each. However, this time I have an anterior placenta which apparently buffers some of the feeling.

We are team green so I do not know if LO is a boy or girl but DS did not move much at all. I ended up in triage many times to make sure he was ok. He has been moving all over the place since he was born though and is a very busy little boy. LO #2 moves like crazy in my belly. So much so that it is really starting to hurt alot of the time.

My son moved much less than my daughter, but I made much more of an effort to drink less coffee with him so maybe he wasn't hyped up on caffeine all the time! I knew my second was a boy almost immediately because my cravings and aversions were so different. That was the only difference I saw.
