Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire came out in 2005, and I remember watching and enjoying it. [SPOILER ALERT] Well I just rewatched it 11 years later, and it was a totally different experience as a parent! That scene where Cedric dies and then his ghost asks Harry to bring his body back to his father... and then his father shouts in agony, "That's my son!! That's my boy!!"

I almost cried watching it... basically all movies where parents lose their children move me to tears now, whereas before I barely noticed the parents before. It makes it a lot harder to enjoy movies and TV shows, because unbeknownst to me, Hollywood loves to kill kids in front of their parents! It took me 4-5 years after my son was born before I could watch Law and Order SVU again.
