I found when I'm laying on my left side, or if I'm hunched over in my chair, the baby starts moving around a lot! It's like she is kicking me to ask me to make more room for her! If I'm in a chair, I'll move. If I'm in bed, I usually just wait her out.
Do you move when it feels like the baby is squished in there and trying to move around?

I always do, and it drives me nuts! Twin 1 (on my right side) seems to move more than twin 2 (on my left) and I always feel like I'm dropping 1 on top of 2 when I lie on my left, and her kicks seem to be nearly into the mattress! Does gravity bother them much in there, does anyone know? I mean I just couldn't lie on my tummy now, obviously, (26w) but I keep imagining they'd be more comfy with me lying on my back so they're not squished on top of each other. I got kicked looooads yesterday for hunching over in a chair, lol...

@chopsuey119: it is a pretty cool feeling - lately it's just been these squirmy feelings in there - not so much kicks or anything. As long as I feel something, I'm happy. So maybe sometimes I do bend over on purpose...

@mediagirl: the squirmy feelings are so weird! sometimes he'll do this thing where I feel like he's rolling a body part against my belly....it feels so bizarre. my midwife said she thinks he's head down and tush to left and feet up to the right. i like thinking about what position he is in : )

@aunt pol: aww. I actually can't sleep on my side because I get stabbing rib pain, so I *do* sleep on my stomach. When I sleep on my side (either side) he kicks exactly the same amount as he does when I'm on my stomach. My husband loves it because he can feel the baby kicking.

yup! the boy (on the left) is definitely more active, so when i lay on my left, i feel him and i do feel like i'm squishing him, so i'll tilt a lil more to the right (but still on my left)....

@pastemoo: Wow, and do you not feel like you're squashing him?! I rolled onto my belly once and nearly jumped out of the bed, I felt like I'd done something awful:)

Yes when I slouch on the sofa the baby kicks me until I sit up straight, its like she is letting me know she isnt comfortable.
