A close friend is 20 weeks with a boy and girl after exactly one 25ml dose of Clomid. But my SIL was on 100mg for 2 years and just had a single pregnancy.

I took 5mg of letrozole per day for 5 days and now 9 weeks with a singleton. Twins also run rampid in my family but didn't happen this time for us.

Clomid singleton here. I can't remember the exact stats but I know the chances of multiple was less than 10%. And I'd rather have twins than no children at all, so.... clomid for the win, haha.

I had a clomid singleton, but two people DH works with had twins with clomid. Both sets were girls. My RE said she's only had clomid triplets three times and she's been practicing for about twenty-five years. I remember telling her I'd prefer not to be number four.

I don't have any personal experience but I used to be part of a local board and almost every single woman who conceived with Clomid had twins. It was crazy but I am pretty sure that is not the norm! Good luck and I hope the new protocol is successful!

I know someone who had twins after taking Clomid however she has a lot of twins in the family so the Clomid might have just pushed it along.

@Truth Bombs: I'm planning on doing clomid for my third pregnancy, I really just want one again though! Twins would be a shock!

Good luck with Letrozole! I was diagnosed with PCOS too and was able to get pregnant on my first cycle with Clomid.
