Do you like mushrooms? I am decidedly NOT a fan. I'll pick them out of as much as possible, and if I can't pick them out, I try to avoid eating the food.

I. love. mushrooms! DH and I have a friend who won't eat mushrooms because he says they are fungi. To the point where he was on a date at a fancy restaurant where there were truffle shavings on top of his entree, and he picked them all off and put them in his napkin! He said his date was mad because she would have eaten them!

I don't mind the flavor, but hate the texture. So I'll eat a mushroom sauce or a pureed mushroom soup but if there on my plate I push them to the side

I love them! Fresh over canned, although I'll still eat those funky canned mushrooms if they come on a pizza or something. Grilled on a kabob is my favorite though…nice and roasted but without the stereotypically squishy mushroom texture. Mmmm.

Blech, DH and I both hate mushrooms! Although, I do like truffle oil and truffle shavings on things. Like fries with truffle oil, yum. But actual mushrooms, no way. I hate the texture.

I love love love mushrooms. While I was pregnant, I would fry a ton if mushrooms in butter and garlic, and just eat that as a snack.

I hate mushrooms - they're actually the 1 food I would immediately say I dislike. Everything about them is gross to me - the fungus thing, grown in poop, the don't wash with water rule, the texture, the smell and of course the taste.

@Mrsjets: To be fair pretty much all vegetables are grown with poop involved.
Also you wash mushrooms with a damp cloth, right? That to me counts as washing with water. You just don't want them to absorb the water.
