Now that the initial shock is over and we now have her in a cast after being in a splint for a few days I'm trying to figure out how to keep DD happy. She is 2y 4m- she's not in a boot so she can't walk, it's a full leg cast. Unfortunately it's not waterproof. She is a super active kid so this has been tough on everyone. She is not a big fan of the stroller and weighs 27 lbs so she's not easy to carry. She can sit up. We had to cancel a camping trip (too much sand, water). It's just hard because what I could do with my 10 month old does not keep my 2 year old happy and she's getting frustrated.

We bought a couple pairs of rompers for easy dressing.

We have lots of art supplies, she likes bubbles and chalk, luckily she can still go on the boat, she will read in her room and has been getting more screen time than usual.

I'm just so bummed last summer she had HFM and croup and I got bronchitis at the same time so we barely left the house for 6 weeks and the summer before DH had a broken arm.

I'd love any advice!
