Ever since I could remember, LO (9 months old) has not seemed interested in stuffed animals. I tried to introduce a lovey for fun, but he really didn't care for it. I find it strange that he would be so interested in so many different objects but not give a hoot about stuffed animals. I once threw a whole pile of them on the ground and he was only interested in it for like a few seconds before crawling over to something else. What gives? Will he grow out of this? Hahahaha.

LO doesn't care about stuff animals either. Never really thought of it as a problem.
I'm sure it's in the range of normal. Also my LO is a boy so I thought maybe boys don't take to stuff animals as well?

Lo doesn't love stuffed animals. She's 21 months and finally started loving her doll though. She likes to put diapers on stuffed animals.

I don't think it's a big deal. Apparently, when I was a child I only liked baby dolls because they look like actual people (well, kind of). I didn't like cartoons either, just shows/movies with actual people.

DS was like that until about a year or so ago. Now his whole bed is covered in them. I think they start loving them when they have the imagination to make them come "alive."

My son prefers a spoon over stuffed animals. eh.

My nephew liked a lovey, but didn't care about stuffed animals for a while. Now, at a little over 2, he has his favorites and sleeps with his top 5 every night. I feel very special that the one I gave him made it in the top 5

They like what they like! My daughter (7 mo) likes them but she likes everything in her mouth so I don't think it really counts..

my son (11 months) doesn't really care for them either. he only pays attention if they have a long tail that he can suck/chew on

My daughter doesn't have any interest in them either at 10mo.

My daughter showed zero interest in any stuffed animals until she was around 10 months and then she got obsessed with a baby doll. The stuffed animal love didn't come till a few months after that.

At 19 months my daughter JUST got interested in them. Now she drags around her doggie and her elmo and makes believe in all sorts of cool ways with them. But just this month has that started.

Sounds perfectly normal to me! Mine is 14 months and has no interest in stuffed animals either

My lo didn't care for them at all until he was almost 2 and a half. He picked out his favorite and he's inseparable from it. It's the only one he likes too. Kids are funny don't give up hope yet!

Mine only likes Scout so far because he can push buttons and get him to interact (15 months).
