So I'm 25 weeks tomorrow and while my feet are still the same size my calves are now bigger. I can't get my boots zipped up past half way. I didn't see this coming at all. Ugh! (or I should say UGG!)
They'll go back to normal right?

@oliviaoblivia: I saw this post this morning on my iphone and had to respond once I got to work! I had a COMPLETE breakdown last Saturday after finding that my boots don't zip past halfway on my calves. I just wanted to tell you that you are not alone! It's not a problem I foresaw either

I was up a whole size by the end of my pregnancy, from size 9 to size 10. I'm nearly 6 months pp and most of my shoes finally fit again. My feet are a little bit wider now, though.

Oh my gosh I haven't even considered this since it is still way too hot in Texas to break out the boots. My regular workout sneaks are getting snug so I bet I'm going to have trouble with the boots!

@Running Elley: I was late to work today because of my boots-not-fitting crying fit. pathetic.
I expected the shoe size change because my mom started wearing a 7 and after three kids wears an 8.5, But my feet haven't changed at all - just my calves...it's so weird. I'm especially bummed because I have so many cute fall maternity clothes to wear that only really work with boots.

@oliviaoblivia: Aw I seriously spent all day last Saturday in a funk because of it which turned into I'm tired of being pregnant and huge breakdown, etc. So lovely!

I almost cried trying on boots the other day! Mine were too tight all over! I just bought a pair of ankle boots that have laces I can loosen for this fall. They are cute but it is still disappointing that all my visions of cute tall boots and tights outfits are not gonna happen.

I'm 14 weeks and my favorite pair of riding boots hardly zip past my calves anymore. So I did what any pregnant woman who doesn't want to accept the fact that her calves got bigger does... I bought another pair that has a wider calf opening!! I will definitely need the boots come fall/winter in San Francisco!

Oh say it isn't so ladies! It's not cool enough here for boots yet, but I was wearing shorts today and saw my reflection in a store mirror and completely shocked at how BIG my thighs suddenly looked! If that's any indication, I bet my calves have grown too.

This is one reason I was glad to be pregnant in the hot hot hot summer. I could buy one pair of flip flops and wear those all through my pregnancy.

And this is why I couldn't wear leggings/long tunics and boots during my third tri!

This happened to me! Tried my boots on a few days ago and could t get them on! My feet have gotten wider and I used to have super narrow feet! So bummed!! I'm 36 weeks so I am hoping they go back, but we will see

It actually crossed my mind to use the rubber band trick on my boots. Then I realized how dumb that would look....and how dumb I was to consider it.
@looch: Are you able to zip up your boots now?

@oliviaoblivia: all but one pair, but those were a super tight fit before pregnancy.

This just happened to me this morning. My feet have definitely spread. I was hoping to get by with boots and leggings for the 1 months that I have left. Guess I have an excuse to go shopping

@oliviaoblivia: this happened with my riding boots over the wknd; but it's because i'm a permanent size 8 now. i got them on, but my feet were tight and sore! UGHHH. just got them last year too!

Me too I about cried when I tried to zip up my favorite black boots, no dice! I pray that I can get my calves back down to normal size, I invested in quite a few pairs of new boots last year and really don't want to replace them all!!!
