Our kitty is an indoor cat, but since we got our yard fenced in a few years ago we do let him out in the yard during the summer. Well, last week he found a spot in the fence through which he can escape. He spent one whole night outside (we searched for him for ages but finally had to go to bed) and several hours the other day when our city was under a heat alert. So, we've stopped letting him outside.
Well, today, I'm sitting on the patio with DD napping in the living room. I have the screen door open so I can hear her and the cat is sitting at the door crying non-stop to be let our. Ugh! He's driving me absolutely insane and I'm worried he's going to wake DD. I guess I better figure out a way to keep him in the yard, otherwise it's going robe a LONG, annoying summer!
