I work in a fairly small office and right now it's tax season. So for most of us, the hours are long and the days are crazy.

My firm pays for a couple of meals a week (not lunches) but other than those couple meals, you're on your own when working late. I've been bringing in food for the week on Mondays, since I grocery shop on the weekends. I try to find convenient but healthy snacks since time is at a premium and for dinners, I opt for soups or frozen meals. I put my initials on anything I keep in the communal kitchen.

I've noticed lately that people are pilfering my food! I don't know what to do since I'm not totally sure who is doing it. I brought in Hot Pockets for a dinner and when I went to eat them, they were totally gone! And I mean gone, not just hidden beneath something else in the freezer.

I kind of think it was one of our admins. She tells people all the time that she's going to eat their food. She goes through everything in the fridge and makes comments about what people eat that day. It's not a money issue for her, she can afford to feed herself. She just comments that she's still hungry after eating her lunch.

It's not even just the Hot Pockets. I keep yogurts, string cheeses, and other individually packaged, labeled with my initials, items in the fridge the go missing.

I don't mind sharing if asked (although the day the admin asked if she could eat my frozen dinner I said no, since that was my dinner for the evening and she leaves at 2!) but I'm not being asked and I'm pregnant, which is why I keep a supply of snacks on hand, I need to make sure I'm eating properly!

What would you do? Am I overreacting? I keep as much as I can stored in my desk, but for refrigerated items, it's just not an option
