I had 1 year of maternity leave and he said to me "I don't get it, she sleeps like 16-17 hours a day most days, why are you complaining about being tired and having no time?". Sigh.

Lol my sis just had her 1st baby this week. BIL tried to tell her he knew better than she did how to get the baby latched on....ummmm no. But he is just insane anyway!

haha... Yeah, DH likes to say he knows what it's like because he wears a 11 pound duty belt at work, so his back/hips get sore as well. Riiiiiiiight... but he's gotten to take that off and stretch at some point in the last 8 months I assume??

In our childbirth class today the instructor said how sometimes seeing someone you love in so much pain or discomfort is even worse than it is for the mother in labor. DH has stopped mentioning this. (insert big eye roll here).
He's also gained, a few pounds since I've been pregnant and said today that he can't wait to lose the sympathy baby weight.

LMAO! So cute and funny!
Our friend told us he had the baby and gave birth (or something to that effect). All the ladies were like "WTH are you talking about?!" His reasoning was because his wife had a scheduled C-Section and just got to lay there, while he was "running around" keeping everyone updated, etc. He had a lot more "work" to do! Hmph! men!

Omg. That is awesome and hilarious. My DH hasn't said anything like that but has declared he will not be reading any pregnancy or baby books. Mind you he's never changed a diaper or held a newborn 
maybe it's a better (and less neurotic) approach than mine.

I talked to a guy once who said he had gall bladder issues, and he's SURE he knows what it likes to be in labor. Totally different, dude...sure gallbladders suck when they go out, but it's not labor!

Ok, I don't know how I didn't remember this when I posted earlier. Must watch video of two husbands who said women exaggerate about the pains of childbirth experiencing a "contraction simulator". Make sure you can turn up the volume to hear their comments during the experience. Enjoy
