I have been up all night with our two year old either cleaning up puke or anticipating puke. Poor girl. She was fine yesterday!! DH and I are also coming down with sore throats. At least I don't have to miss work this time!

I'm so sorry! We just went through this. Every kid at our daycare got it. There is definitely something going around right now. Hope you all feel better soon.

Thanks everyone! She's actually been doing pretty well this morning and we are crossing our fingers that a nap doesn't cause more vomiting. She seems to mainly vomit when she's been asleep. Anyone else have that issue?

@jessibear: Is she congested at all? My LO only throws up when she's laying down/asleep because of the post nasal drip getting caught in her throat

@sweet_p: she's had a runny nose the past few days, we wondered if drainage was an issue. Really, really hoping she makes it through this nap. Did you have any luck propping up your LO to sleep to help with it?

@jessibear: We put a pillow under her mattress, which seemed to help a little and also took turns holding her upright to sleep. A cold mist humidifier and Vicks vapor rub on the chest also helped. I also avoided giving her dairy the week that she was sick and stuck with a lot of clear liquids instead. Did she end up taking her nap ok?

@sweet_p: she did! She felt pretty rough for awhile after she woke up but has been ok the rest of the evening. Fingers crossed she gets through tonight. Thanks for commiserating with me! Definitely trying some of these tricks tonight.
