Before getting my BFP I fantasized about all the things I would/wouldn't do during my pregnancy. I wanted to do things "different" with this pregnancy I wanted to do them "better" then when I was pregnant with DS. Well at 30+2 weeks I can say I have failed to do most of the things I thought I was going to. So here is my list of all things I am slightly ashamed of.
1. Caffiene: I swore I wouldn't drink caffiene during this pregnancy and I was really good about it until the middle of my 2nd tri when I craved a frappucinno. Now I get one almost daily and they are oh so good! I always get them light and plan on stopping when LO arrives (it's a very expensive habit!)
2. Soda: Before getting pregnant I did not drink soda at all. It actually upset my stomach. Now I occasionally enjoy a soda. I crave the fizziness and coldness of the ice. Once again I fully plan to stop drinking it when LO arrives because I really think it is terrible for me.
3. Meat: I am a vegetarian but lately I have been having very strong meat cravings. I found out a few weeks ago I am very anemic which may explain the cravings. Now I am taking iron twice a day (doctors orders) and I crave meat less but I did eat a cheeseburger and a roastbeef sandwich. DH doesn't even know this.
4. Exercise: I really thought I could keep up with my running while pregnant. Boy was I wrong! I was so paranoid in my 1st tri that running was not an option and then I had a preterm labor scare in my 2nd tri. So my exercising has been very limited.
5. A few other things I have done that I am not proud of. I have eaten cookie dough, soft serve ice cream, and way to many ramen noodles.
Do you have anything you've done that you swore you wouldn't do during pregnancy?
