This may be my hang up only, but I am very sensitive about racially ambiguous names. Did you consider wether your child would be discriminated against based on their name alone?
Over the years I have learned that a name means nothing, but it's still in the back of my mind. People get hired and promoted on merit. Well, I can definitely say promoted.
Edit: I wish I was more open to all names because if I ever have a son DH is going to push for a junior. DH has a "creative" name and I almost passed on dating him because of it. I know bad, very bad.
Edit Edit: For polling purposes, vote based on your own race, culture or religion or names you associate with another race, culture or religion. Basically, if it stands out as non-white/non-Prostentant it's different.
