Just kidding.
But if you had named your first child Eugene (goes by Gene), what would you name a second?

For some reason I'm reminded of "Hey Arnold"
So I'm going to go with Arnold

@lovehoneybee: you hit on a few of our girl name ideas!
@LuLu Mom: I love Eleanor and Abigail. Henry was a favorite but I feel like I know lots of Henry's suddenly (including my boss's son, boo). James is my faaaaaavorite boy name but it clashes with my last name. My sister wants William. And we talked about Jack, but our names are John and Jackie and figured that was just too much, haha!
@Greentea: we met a Winston the other day. My husband said it was probably after the fly rod company, which he thought was just a great idea, haha!
@autumnlove: aww so cute. I went to prom with a Benjamin!
@blackbird: Harvey reminds me of the movie! I like it though. Harry was my top for a while, until I realized it was problematic with our last name (which is reminiscent of parts of the male reproductive system).
@snickers: I was thinking about Ted the other day and wasn't sure if it was just because we love How I Met Your Mother!
@NurseMommy: that popped into my head the other day too! I have a tough time enunciating Rs though so it would be problematic for me!
@Raindrop: good show!

@lawbee11: I love Henry and Eleanor! Caroline reminds me of the Outkast song, haha.

Congrats on your baby boy!
I'm kind of crushing on Walter lately, which I think would go great with Eugene - Eugene and Walter, Gene and Walt. I also like Edmund, nicknamed Ned. They could share an initial but with different nickname initials. Other thoughts are Arthur, Louis, Frederick and George.
@blackbird: I wish I could get DH on board with Percy!

My husband's older brother is Eugene/Gene and his name is Noah
sister is Evelyn. I think my MIL picked nice names.
Other names I think could work: Aaron/Erin, Archer, Bryan, Daryl, Grant, Harvey, Leonard/Leo, Spencer. And for girls: Adelaide, Beatrice, Cora, Hannah, Maya, Phoebe, Vivian

@jedeve: for a boy I thought of Conrad, William, Henry, Benjamin, Joseph, Oscar, or Ethan
for a girl I thought Amelia or Evelyn -- could do Eve or Evie as a nn
